I found a Kenwood updater that is not their normal firmware update. It reloads everything on a few models including the 570HD.
I need that uploader! can you repost the link? Mine lost a bunch of icons (image not found) and I think a reload would fill in all those pesky "image not found" placeholders. As for the voltage, I was running it off a UPS battery 12.2V and it was very laggy. Im wondering if the 13+ voltage is really needed as it sure works better off a fresh charge than a 11.8V reading. My test batteries are old so they work for about an hour before the thing starts to boot loop at 11.5V. I have a 690 on the way with a no power issue, hope its a reflow fixer or else Ill just harvest the onboard uSD card on the GPS board or even the whole thing. Mine works but the nav is wonky.

      What has to be reflowed?
I have a 570, that won't boot up anymore, but the fan is running and the red triangular LED is on.

I understand the GPS card can take a reflow and fix a red power with no display. 240C at 80s to reflow lead free solder.

OK, I have reflowed the main CPU on the GPS daughterboard, and it came to life. Yeahh!!
I have added some thermal pads between the DVD drive and the Aluminum heat sink, to transfer some heat. Hopefully will last longer.

Hello, I live in Brazil, I can't find a place to repair my DNN9710BT, that is similar to the DNN991HD.

Same Service Manual that I don't have!

I't don't start. Only show the red light, turn on a black screen, fan always on and anything I've tryed is working.

I't don't power the USB light of my USB Flash Drive , them, I think that it's impossible to reinstal the firmware.

Sorry to ask you, but I really need Help.

I've just have finished to pay for it.

                  LG 38gl950g Service Manual needed
                  by iR0ck
Hello everyone. Could anyone please share the service manual for the LG 38GL950G monitor? I have been using it for four years and just noticed that the PCB fan has never worked. The self-test also shows an error. It would be great if I could repair it somehow.

Repair of an LG split AC system indoor unit PCB
                  by ngml
I am trying to repair an LG split AC indoor unit, which does not start and gives a CH05 error code.
This indicates an error in the communication between the outdoor and the indoor unit.
The outdoor unit is fine, so the problem is the indoor PCB.
The indoor unit is an LG PC09SQ NSJ (3SNM09JA2FA), and the PCB has the following type number: EAX35907219-1.2 (see photo1)
I changed optocouplers ICO1X & ICO2X and the NPN transistor S9013 which drives optocoupler ICO2X (see photo2), but this did not remedy the fault.

Does anybody have the schematics of this board,...

                  by magik20
                  Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone might be able to offer some guidance on repairing a Wine Enthusiast N'finity 170 bottle wine cellar, model 273 02 70.

I recently acquired this unit for free via Facebook Marketplace, hoping to fix it up as a gift for my wife. I have some basic electronic skills (comfortable with a multimeter, basic soldering, identifying components) but I'm definitely not an advanced technician.

The main challenge is that when I picked up the unit, the main control/power board had already been removed and the previous owner said it needs a...

Sony HCD BX7700dbi CMT flashing standby
                  by rabbituk
I have got a Sony HCD-BX7700dbi that isn't worth a lot but I'm keen to learn how to repair and would appreciate some help with my train of thought. The protection circuit is kicking in and the standby light is blinking. It goes into protection mode within a second of powering it on.

So far the relay on the power board that enables the main transformer clicks on and then off when powering on the unit. Looking at the schematics, the permanently enabled power rail called 'unreg sub' provides about 13.5VDC. Where the power comes into the main board on connector CN303, there is a diode...

                  Samsung MX-JS9500 Schematics Needed
                  by wrand003
                  Hello Everyone,

I am working on a Samsung MX-JS9500 Giga Party Stereo System. I am specifically insearch of the Main Board Schematics.

                  The Problem:
The unit is not powering up the Bluetooth or CD player. The rest of the unit acts like everything is working fine. When you press the bluetooth button the unit says "please wait" while it tries to start the bluetooth but it never starts. The same thing happens with the CD player. There is no response it will not open the tray or close it. It just says "Loading."

                  My suspicion...
