    Siglent SDS2352X-E scope?

Does any one have any opinions on the Siglent SDS2352X-E scope, are they reliable? I almost got the 300Mhz 2Ch Rigol, it seems Siglent has the edge.

Rigol seems have have sat on their laurels for a few years. I have read good reviews of Siglent's scopes, but I don't have one, and no experience with one. I'm possibly in the market as well, so I'll be watching this thread also.

What kinda put me of Rigol was three things..... the screen is screen glare and you got to look at it at an angle so I was told, the measurements is over part the waveform and as clearchris said they sat on their laurels.

I only need a 2 Ch. scope no need for an high end one, maybe they might updates the lower cost one to keep up with their competitors.... that's the reason I've learned they're giving free updates, the only thing's I can see is the Rigol has a better memory depth, maybe updating their lower end is on the horizon.

Here's a review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zJ8X51l0Go, what struck out was the bandwidth test.

Need advice testing a samsung power supply board with scope
          by repair-it
I am attempting to test a samsung power supply board to verify the pfc ic is working. I am powering up the board with my isolation transformer. The board turns on fine but when I attempt to connect the ground for the scope probe, it trips out the isolator. I was taught not to 'float my scope' so I am wondering if I should test without connecting the ground lead or would that be asking for trouble? Not sure how else to test, I don't have a portable scope. I could plug direct to mains power but that would bypass the safety factor.

          RIGOL DS1054z problem defective :(
          by Fobo
I have a rigol ds1054z that I bought a little over a year ago (used) but now that I've started using it on more than the first channel, I only get interference on the other channels.
When I put the probe from the first channel on one of the others that the interference occurs on, I don't shows any more interference so if I remove the first probe again the interference comes again, see pictures

          It's a 1000 Hz wave I'm sending in.

I've messed with all the settings and updated it to the latest firmware and calibrated it and it doesn't go away, is it defective?

Reading input and output of bridge rectifier on the same scope?
          by EasyGoing1
I have a 40 volt AC transformer that I put a bridge rectifier on, and I wanted to see the input signal and the output signal on the same screen on my scope, so I set one channel up with the test lead on one side of the input and the ground lead on the other side of the input, then I used another channel on the scope and clipped the test lead on the positive side of the output then the ground on the negative side of the output.

When I connected the transformer to power, the wire that was connected between the ground lead on the second channel and the negative side of the bridge rectifier...
