thats a lot of money for 70MHz and only 2 channels.
i would rather spend more and get a Rygol DH814 and soft-patch it to 250MHz if i didnt already have 6 scopes

      I have several requirements
      Must be battery operated
      Must have data logging capability
Must be displayable on a iPad for slightly bigger screen

One reason I like Hantek products in this series of enclosures there is no screen to break yes you can break the screen on an iPad but I have a protective case for all of my iPads and I have several times drop one and the case protected if from breaking

I watch a tear down of one of there scope unfortunately it was not the model that has the Bluetooth capability but the board a has a space for it and the person doing the review made the comment that he thought it was very well made he also made the a comment about how the battery cells had individual battery management for each battery cell which there were two of them in parallel

Which would give you long battery life in running time and longevity in the long run if done properly in the beginning

Can you make a compelling reason for having 4 channels on a scope and what would you this capability for

I would agree with you that this seems to be a little bit expensive than it should be but is it really that much more expensive for what you are getting

the rigol DH series is usb-c powered and has usb and ethernet that can send the data to a pc or other device.
it has a 7inch screen and i think a hdmi output for slave display.
        and it's got 4 channels.

I looked at it but I really do not want to spend nearly $400.00 for one I watch his review of this scope but it also has limitations as well so I might be a little confused about what features I really do need they also have one that is primarily used in the automotive industry I going to look at this one as well I will post a link to some time this week

I just looked at the Hantek automotive scope and it quite a few limitations as well so I really do not know what direction to go in I want something to be able to troubleshoot switching power supplies and buss system and things like this and not sure what else I want to be able to troubleshoot as well

AFAIK nowadays X-Y mode is only good for oscillofun.wav... Think I'd rather want a lighter weight scope with better storage depth... and the money to buy one.
