Just use a dmm lol and for 5v leds a old pc psu with come bodged wires cheap but it works.

Can you show me the parallel connected LED strings? If they use more than one strings and they are not connected in series to form one big long string each string will have its own MOSFET and current sensor for each string so it this the case to you to locate the Cathode return side of the each string of LED so you can just light up just one string only, it will be very bad design to have the LED strings connected directly in parallel, if one goes open circuit the current on the working string will go up and it is also hard to get the match the total Vf of each string to get each string to have equal current flow.

Here is the board in question as you can see there only drop down resistor
So is there any kind of tester that would work this kind of board
The way this board is set this see a lot of LED board set up
Those LEDS are not connected directly in parallel, each set has its own limiter resistors so this kind of the set the total current draw will be higher than that LED tester can deliver.
You will have to put the Red probe of the tester on the Anode of the second LED of the string you want to test, the black probe on the Cathode of the last LED in that string, then you can test the first LED of that string by itself.
Recently I've noticed that some ShopJimmy backlight strips don't have double-sided tape installed upon them when an application calls for it, and I must purchase the tape separately. In a recent chat conversation with a customer service agent I told them if this tape wasn't applied when it was called for I would begin to consider ordering my backlight strips elsewhere. It looks like this time may have come.
Hi folks!
I have some kind of memory problem on Lenovo laptop. I was initially able to install windows after several tries since the laptop did freeze in middle of those attempts.
Eventually I discovered that it was related to moving the laptop.
Later on it even stopped booting unless I pressed around the memory slot. (no keyboard LEDs only power button responds)
If I remove the RAM I get the beeps that RAM is missing. Inserting the RAM there is silence and it will not boot most of the time. No picture.
I removed the board got one of those memory slot testers...
I have reverse engineered this tester, schematic is attached and is complete except for capacitor values. These testers annoyingly have no model number but they are the ones you find on the first page of just about any website if you type in "18650 4-channel tester". There is also a 2-channel variant and a newer 8-channel variant. They are very cheap (about £15) and can measure voltage, current, internal resistance and capacity. They have a multicolour display for all these statistics. They also have terminal blocks so that if you want to use a breakout board...
When i need to replace cpu or gpu or pch ...i mostly order reballed chip from china, but lately there are more broken ones then working.
So lately i tried with ebay "not working motherboards". I ordered a few broken motherboards from ebay but i have found out that there are many scammers on ebay. The most of them are selling already destroyed motherboards with pictures in low resolution, some of them are being scammed and just scam forwarding...
First board i ordered last month was ok. Cpu was dead but i could use gpu and pch. The second arrived 2 weeks ago...and it was...
When I first turned this battery testing machine the fan for the switching power supply was a little bit noisy but once I recapped the switching power supply board it quiet down considerably then I put a temperature controlled fan that does the mosfets control board was really noisy but now that it is cooled with temperature controlled fan that sensor was moved from the fan to the heat sink so now that the fan is controlled this way the fan runs according to the temperature of the heat sink
This switching power supply was really fun to recap the quality of the board was very good...
