It must be about 30 lunatics closed in a room in Brussels, making stories with their heads, their goal is not to save the planet but to pretend that they do work so to rightfully worth to be payed with 3,500 EUR its month.

That sounds about right. I saw on the news that a bunch of bureaucrats flew in the PRIVATE JETS and use Limousines to go to the conference and telling us to be green. It is more about money and powers, not about green.

Standby usage is insignificant. My Panasonic plasma uses 0.2W in standby and average 350W in operation. If I leave it on for 5 minutes accidentally, I've used the equivalent of 145 hours of standby power. They're focusing on something that doesn't matter.

This does not sound right for TV but rather for plasma cutter. LOL

You must have a sad, sad boring life if you hate on people harmlessly enjoying life with an animal costume.

Sometimes you need to break shit to fix it.... Thats why my lawnmower doesn't have a deadman switch or engine brake anymore

              IngSoc in action.
"We have offered them (the Arabs) a sensible way for so many years. But no, they wanted to fight. Fine! We gave them technology, the latest, the kind even Vietnam didn't have. They had double superiority in tanks and aircraft, triple in artillery, and in air defense and anti-tank weapons they had absolute supremacy. And what? Once again they were beaten. Once again they scrammed [sic]. Once again they screamed for us to come save them. Sadat woke me up in the middle of the night twice over the phone, 'Save me!' He demanded to send Soviet troops, and immediately! No! We are not going to fight for them."

I remember hearing about Al Gore's mansion when he started his global warming campaign. Somebody got a hold of his electric bill and it was huge. More than what my house costs.

this "green" movement is about nothing more than the movement of green($$$$$$$$$$$$$)
selling supposed efficient stuff under the guise of saving the planet.but the stuff wont last to give payback of the upfront investment.and worse the stuff dies and goes to the landfill at an accelerated rate.
should be called brown not green.
