Lenovo X1 Carbon 9th Gen Black Screen

I believe Chip 2 is BIN is the main one as it contained the Windows product key, marked with XXXXX for now.

    SN: PF3G1REP
    MODEL: 20KW-00J1AU

PROBLEM: Turns on blank screen, charging circuitry motherboard looks good. I have tried another firmware here - but resulted in 5V will not go to 20v due to different PD firmware I believe - using the current firmware it does go to 20V.

Requesting a firmware clean/BIOS region cleaned. Here is output from ME Analyzer:

It`s a 20XW not K . Your bios is too corrupt to repair, just use another one with clean ME firmware

    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...77#post3300577

,the 20XW, 20XX share the same bios

Thanks for your reply - I tried a new chip today, but I'm still encountering the same issue.

What's interesting is that before I started working on the chips, the computer would turn on and display a black screen with the keyboard lights functioning, but there was no backlight, screen display, or external screen output - essentially like a zombie state. After working with the chips and restoring the original firmware, it won't boot at all anymore.

I've spent considerable time checking the continuity of every pin back to their destinations, and they're all properly connected. Even with the original firmware restored, it won't power on.

            Component Details:
            • U49: Contains the Windows Product key and other related features
            • U89: Contains the Type-C Power delivery and other features. If this chip is not in properly or firmware is not correct, it won't reach 23V. (It's not the MOSFETs issues)

I've tried the new chip on both locations after programming, but these chips were extremely difficult to remove due to the adhesive material used. I've manually scanned the entire board under a microscope on both sides and found nothing unusual, even used powerful torch to look up closely, nothing is odd.

            Current Status:
            • Power button signal is functioning properly
            • Orange light activates
            • 23V is present with 0.04 amps powering the LED
            • ThinkEngine IC is running at approximately 20 degrees, indicating it's active
Despite all this, it still won't turn on. I suspect the issue might still be firmware-related, but I'm honestly at a loss after over five hours of troubleshooting.

Chip1 is the recovery bios , chip2 the main bios. chip2 has the windows key,the DMI will be in the EC chip.
