In the future scrape off the protective coating on that trace or "track" as you call it. tin it(apply a layer of solder to it) then do what you did and add a little more solder so the whole mess is soldered togther.. it will be a super strong repair when your done. On fatter traces, old desoldering braid works great too.
Well it didn't fix the original problem. It still randomly shuts off. I replaced all the capxon caps including the small 4.7, 10, and 33 caps. They were all bloated.
But the set does seem more stable now, including the captions that would randomly stop working or print incorrectly.
I think the input board is causing issues. It has UCC KY series and Jackcon Capacitors. But I don't see any physical issues but that doesn't mean that there aren't any.
