Identification of Component T5 on NEXIQ USB-Link 2 (damaged due to crushing)

    Hi everyone,
I'm currently repairing a NEXIQ USB-Link 2 that was physically damaged due to crushing. After a thorough inspection, it appears that only one component is visibly damaged: the T5 component, located right next to the Mini-USB port.

It's a 4-pin SMD component, with one pin at each corner, aligned front-to-back along the USB port axis. Unfortunately, it is broken, and there are no visible markings left on the part to identify it.

I'm looking for help with the following:

The exact identification or part number of the T5 component

A possible replacement or equivalent part

Understanding its function (protection diode? TVS? regulator? something else?)

NEXIQ refuses to share technical details unless I send in the entire unit for repair, which I'd like to avoid for a simple part replacement.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

This is a choke, you can put two jumpers from thin wire and that's it.

By the way, Lotas, how did you know it was just a choke? Did you search for and find documents or anything to come to that conclusion, or did you just know? I'd really like to know, if possible, so I can learn how to solve similar problems in the future. Thanks

The USB input circuit is roughly the same on all devices...
