    Thanks!
One thing that did not make sense on that thread is that he does not get any error blinking codes at all.

This is the board that throws the 1-1 error, but that I can get the tv to turn on with by holding vol+ and channel-. If you scroll up to the very first post, you can compare to the board where I cannot get the screen to turn on and it throws the 2-3 error.

I am confused by pin 19 that shows not connected(there isn't even solder on it on the backside, but it still has a voltage)?

Thanks! So the ERROR pin according to service manual, it is for the Backlights error.
When ERROR is present, it will be low (<1VDC, and when there is no error it will be around 3VDC, I went through many service manuals to find out but no info, so thanks to you now I know what it should be.
          Now back to that thread.

Do you think it would cause any harm if I jumper error to ac_det on the main board I have that isn't working? Do I need to use a resistor or can I just use a piece of wire?

It's supposed to bring up another menu with four options - obviously doesn't work on your set.

its odd you cant get into the service menu at all i wonder if a faulty mainboard could stop you getting into it?

I may have come up with a new mainboard locally to try. If it throws the 1-1 error can I be fairly certain that it is an issue with my backlighting at that point?

Came up with another FM24S board to try. I immediately tried to go into service mode the first time I powered it on since someone has said that if it throws the 1-1 error 5 times the board is toast? Anyways, same thing happened, it had the solid light for eight seconds and then threw the 1-1 error again. So I guess I need to either take a look at the back lighting or just use vol+ and channel- to override the error and use the tv that way...

Bud my 19th pin on the PD is soldered, anyway but since there's no response from the key control board showing any error codes, I checked the RA where the key control board plugs in to the main and these were the voltage readings I got, there were no voltage around it printed on the board that I could see. Of course the last four oins are the key board controller.
                      Pin 1. - 0.00V
                      Pin 2. - 0.00V
                      Pin 3. - 0.00V
                      Pin 4. - 3.25V
                      Pin 5. - 3.20V
                      Pin 6. - 0.74V
                      Pin 7. - 0.00V
                      Pin 8. - 0.00V
                      Pin 9. - 0.00V
                      Pin 10. - 0.00V
                      Pin 11. - 0.00V
                      Pin 12. - 0.00V
                      Pin 13. - 3.25V
                      Pin 14. - 3.15V
                      Pin 15. - 3.15V
If these voltages are correct then this would point towards the key control board may have failed since we cant get blinking error codes?
