  • Re: arc on a pin while testing ps

I have 2.08 on pin 14. Before I arched pin 7 on the psu and had replaced the eeprom on the main with a new programmed eeprom but after putting the boards in I could not get it to turn on and also tried a few power/ vol button combinations to somehow get an error but nothing…

  • Re: arc on a pin while testing ps

From the first couple ohm readings, they seem to go one direction and if not were 0's but the R7601ohm readings are:
    2000k - 001
    200k - 00.1
    20k - 0.01, 0.02 and 0.013 (vasilated a few times but mostly 0.01
    2000 - 009
    200 - 00.9

Hi bud I have continuety on the fusaible resistor R7601, so the Mosfet transistors Q7601 & 7602 should be fine? I dont know how to test them or the D7130 or 7130 (3) leg transistors?
    thanks...

Wow I should have this thing fixed or at least figured out- thanks bud- I replaced the eeprom for the main with a new programmed eeprom then the last ps before I arched out pin 7 and still nothing, not a hint of life so once getting the ps squared away I should have the voltage regulators for the main by then which hopefully gets it eorking.
    Thanks again bud...

The model is an LC-60LE600U. I think you misunderstood me if I conveyed it correctly but was making a reference to the pinout information from a ps from another Sharp that has pinout info very close to mine specifically pins 5, 6, 7 and 8 being 'UR13V'. It's the only reference or starting point of identifying pin 7 and I have no diagram or schematic for my power supply....

Thats a good idea, I actually am able to turn the board around and andle the board and put one screw in. I wished I did that before. Here is a picture of the pinout from another ps very similar. It seems 5,6,7 and 8 are "UR13.2V" and "UR13.14V on 5,6,7 and 8 were i believe on mine. I am not exactly sure how to pinpoint the regulator that this or 5,6 or 8. I would imagine they all use the same regulator- and I do have a backup board for parts. How many components are in the regulator? How did you pinpoint and find yours?...

  • arc on a pin while testing ps

Finally after receiving the second power supply while checking voltages and being distracted I accidentally arched pin 7 and knew it was a problem. Having checked back on pin 5 which was 13.14 and is now 0, I dont know what is blown. The board is for a Sharp and is a Delta RUNTKB057WJQZ (DPS-168JP A) Bud had helped me figure the problems on the original board which were:

No command to turn on PNL12V for running the T-CON
No BL-ON to turn on backlights circuit
    No dimming control:

The second board I bought arrived damaged and this is the 3rd. If anyone...

  • Re: VoItage regulators MP2301ENE-LF-Z

I actually did- replaced them all then went to check the voltages and saw 2 quick flashes and all the sudden I see a flame like a cigarette lighter coming fro the middle of the board- it was from a ferrite bead. as I was there was a pop before I got it unplugged. The only odd thing was that the number on the really small IC didnt match the number on the one I desoldered. Then I order a board from a company and it arrives broken so I think theyre sending me a another...

  • Re: VoItage regulators MP2301ENE-LF-Z

cap we found voltages that were too low causing not enough to turn on the backlight circuit, t-con or dimming control, even though theres standby power, the ps is the first problem and the fact that theres no button combination, power, vol up or down that will show any sign of life on this set means there is an issue on the main and from what I'm told its theeeprom or voltager regulators or combination of them both...

I'm waiting for another ps, I had bought the repair kit from shopjimmy and replaced eveything without issue although the numbers on little IC didnt match the one that it replaced. When plugging in and testing voltages, I thought I saw two flashes, then I see a flame coming out of the ferrite bead in the middle of the board as if it were a bic lighter. I then hear a pop like a popcorn kernel before getting it unplugged. I then ordered a ps from a company that showed up with the corner broken and crack in it so I cant test anything...

Hey there capwizard, the locations are 9602, 9603 and 9604
Sharp DKEYMF905FM04 Main Board For LC-60LE600U
Great you found them- I actually got a return email from the rep from the northeast with Monolithic Power Systems and he's going to just send me three of them....

  • Re: VoItage regulators MP2301ENE-LF-Z

This is the LC60LE600U thats dead in another thread. You had determined from the voltages:

    "Pin 16 PNL_POW = 0.05V = No command to turn on PNL12V for running the T-CON
Pin 24 STB (Von) = 0.58V = No BL-ON to turn on backlights circuit

    No dimming control:
    Pin 17 PWM1 = 0.16V
    Pin 19 DIMMER = -0.00V

The key is this one which I do not what it should be for normal operation:
    Pin 22 ERROR = 0.95V"

You had figured since the standby power supply was present, that the...

  • VoItage regulators MP2301ENE-LF-Z

Hello wondering if anyone has a line on any IC components, I am looking for some voltafe regulators made by Monolyithic Power Systems - MP2301ENE-LF-Z, I've searched the web , zdigi key, mouser, farnell you name it but cant find any one source where I can buy some or if anyone knows a cross reference to another match to it
    Thanks

  • Re: Eeprom and voltager regulators

I'm also wondering if there's 2 Eeproms then then they both need to be programmed? and this tv is a victim of a power surge, I was told that the eeprom or the voltage Regulators or both would be need to be replaced but then again there are also some small IC's and some large ones with several legs on each side would those need to be replaced as well?
    Thanks again-

Hi thanks I did look up a couple last night, one was on like a spreadsheet and a few columns over Eeprom was listed but I just didn't know how to read the page. The TV is an LC-60LE600U
    Thanks for your help
