    Dell GX270 motherboards

Hey - is anyone having a problem with blown capacitors od Dell Optiplex GX270?
I have had about 25 incidents. The computer boots and displays a message about CPU temps. Upon closer inspection the capacitors close to the CPU are bloated and some oozing liquid. Curious if anyone else is having the same issue...

100% failure rate in 3 months on a lot of 250 machines.
      you are not alone.
and another division of my customers company is starting to report failures and will be sending me a bunch of boards too.

This is ridiculous. Shouldn't Dell be at fault for this? We purchased around 110 of these. These computers are under warranty but it's going to take time to replace each motherboard and I'm certainly not going to wait for them to fail. I'm going to call my sales rep and rip him a new a$$hole.

Take pictures too...Make sure we have a big ol shot of the Dell brand name and the capacitor brand...my dell gx260 has the same nichicons but they are in good shape, it turns out it was certain machines manufactured between a specific time period...that co-insided with the latest SARS outbreak...and subsequent decontamination efforts at factories in Asia...

            Nichicon knows about the issue:

i have seen that sars item before but it is not conclusive. do you have actual info that sars and the HN(M), HM(M) series failures are linked?
