The GeForce1-3 will do it fine, but from what I've read, GeForce4's sometimes have a problem with it. In my family I have a GeForce2 MX, a GeForce3, and a Geforce4 ti4200 which all ran for about 2-3 years on overclocked BX's at 89MHz. It works so easily that I forgot they were out of spec - when I tried to put an SiS card into my computer I couldn't figure out why it didn't work.

Right, but I don't think pentium's Wildcats are so tolerant: it's safer to stick with standard fsb, so 100 MHz on 440BX and GX and 133 MHz on Via Apollo 133[A]/ 266 and ServerLet III chipsets.

I quote myself because I already found this board on january the 2nd but it was discarded becuase it's a P3 solution and we were looking for Athlon mobos [damn *ç°"!&%£$"!)=!£)(!£"*é*DU{§§"E£"Y/ ] : it's a dual socket 370, not a dual slot 2 one, you can't use your Xeons.
So, pentium, be sure you are plenty of 1000EB (you can't put Tualatins in this board) and registered SDRAMs.

Are you positive you tossed that board and didn't just put it aside and forget about it? I still think it is a nice board.

100FSB -> 133FSB Sloket.
That's why I said you have to really research them.
The better ones will run the CPU at 133 and leave the board at 100 but the advertising for them is usually vague as to what they actually do.
Yes they fake VID, they also have to correct core voltage for some Tualatins.

If you don't see anything except resistors, caps, and jumpers on a sloket it's not going to correct the FSB.

The favored one was made by PowerLeap but for what those usually go for you could buy a better motherboard AND the CPU to go with it.

I revive this thread a bit.
Today a guy asked in it.comp.retrocomputing a powerful mobo with an Isa slot.
Apart the Athlons mobos I found some months ago, four other ones didn't escape my notice:
- Soyo SY-P4I845PE ISA (P4 mobo, Intel 845G, Agp 4x and 3 Isa slots! Impressive);
- I-Base MB800 (an industrial mobo alike to the Soyo);
- Advantech AIMB-740-B (845G based industrial mobo with two Isa slot but no Agp);
- Advantech AIMB-742 (the 740 big sister: chipset 865G, Agp 4 and 8x, supports P4 which FSB is up to 800 MHz, so supports all Northwoods and perhaps early Prescotts too). This one is still sold for $280.

Others proposed backplane boards (big boards with 6 to 20 expansion slots: the motherboard is really a daugthercard fitting in a slot), but they aren't waht you need; there are PCI -> ISA and USB -> ISA adapter too but they're for industrial market (extremely expensive).
The cheapest of all is the ARS Tech USB2ISA adapter: it has 3 ISA slots connected through USB, and they claim their driver is good enough for Dos emulation under Windows. It costs $149 + shipping and an appropriate psu.

I'll list other adapters too:
- Cyberresearch PRO 700 (pci to isa adapter);
- Cyberresearch PRO 300 (pci to cardbus adapter);
- Costronic kit (this is a full DIY kit: you have to write your own drivers too);
- FTDI page (the last one is an USB to ISA adapter);
- Elan B100 (PCI to ISA 8 bit, requires a backplane);
- ARS Tech converters (among them there is the USB2ISA).

That first Soyo is pretty darn sexy.
So long as I could cram at least a gig of ram and a 2.4Ghz P4 into the thing as well as one of my AGP cards, that there is another nice board.

Bear in mind all those pretty silver caps are G-Luxon, Sacon (a.k.a. "GSC-II"), and OST. (The OST might even be counterfeits. They have an odd vent stamp and it looks JUST LIKE the odd stamp on the GSC-II,, I mean Sacons.)

Oh yeah.
Just the fact that it is a soyo makes me know that at least one cap on the board will be of questionable quality. It's a given.

had it running as my home-server with 2x PIII 500, 2x256MB SD-RAM (non-ECC) and 2x 4GB IBM 68pin SCSI HDDs
problem was: power consumption

now my homeserver is a not that power-hungry thinclient..
700MHz Via C3 CPU
256MB SD-RAM (-4MB for onboard gfx)
2GB Notebook HDD (internal Sys-HDD with Win2k)
160GB external 3,5" USB HDD as FTP/HTTP storage

The dual slot1 boards only use now is as a dust-catcher... =/

edit: caps situation.. Siemens lytics (?) + polys (all seem to be fine..)

That's true for the Soyo and the I-Base, so excuse me: they got discarded that time because the Agp slot wasn't a Pro one, so I forgot them.
