Update: I removed Bios chip, erased it, and programmed with online bios from msi. And no more asking for password. Thanks for all suggestions and advices. -
I have two different 5600G different batch. Both working great in ASRock fatality. Friday I will do more investigation. Will pull up bios flash, clear it, program it using programmer and we will see. I will keep posted. Thank you for all supportLeave a comment:

depowering I did try. No success. Looks like glitch, I spoke to msi, they want me to send MoBo to them to remove password. They are saying it is unusual. But paying shipping to US from Canada, it is not worth. So next step , I can try to reprogram bios thru programmer, but there is also EC. I tried set password for Admin, non erasable, but when 5600G is in, ignoring my set password. Then I removed password with Ryzen 7, then put back 5600G and still wants password. Ryzen 7 not require password, but when I put 5600G it requires password. I tried all different versions of bios thru flash...Leave a comment:

Thank you for suggestion. I went to MoBo. Set password with ryzen 7, reboot with 7, same password screen, enter password and it unlock boot. Then I put 5600G, same password screen, but invalid password. Downgrade bios… still no luck. Never seen that.Leave a comment:

Mobo MSI B550-A PRO password popup
Hello guys,
I have interesting problem. My MoBo MSI running on Ryzen 7 w/o graphics just good. I swapped to Ryzen 5 5600G and on the boot I stuck with screen on picture. Enter Password. I checked BIOS setting with Ryzen 7, no security is enabled, BIOS password or TPM.
BIOS I updated to last one.
any suggestions?
And same thing for two different 5600G, and yes, MoBo supposed to support it.

Hi,
I did it, I program BIOS, all good except touch, I Restore, update, no touch and only still Failed Update on ME, needs to restart and it is same after restart and for Touch same, need restart and after restart its need restart. See pictures. If I can program directly the fw I would do it, but looks like there is no way. Maybe MS doing this to increase sell for new tablets......Leave a comment:

I used my serial programmer and I have BIOS, but its saying it doesn't not contain contain Intel Engine Firmware. Nor ISHC.
Any suggestion what I need to do with this BIOS. Serial Number are correct.

Hi, trying to dump my BIOS from My surface pro4. It has no Touch after windows update. What is the proper tool to dump bios. I have no Integrated Support hub in device manager. I would like to check the BIOS, but is it any way dump bios without opening surface pro 4? Thank you. Touch is not working. In device manager "Surface ME" and "Surface Touch" has yellow triangle that after restart update will be done, but I restarted few times and still. Those two wont disappear. I'm screwed. Never had in my long time experience working with smt problem what happed. The BIOS chip MX25U1635E (2MB) was so badly cemented to MB, that I broke it while removing. So stupid of me, I should realize that there is problem to remove it and I should just dump it directly while on pcb. I did other one W25Q256JW this one is 32 MBytes and it was success. Everyone makes mistakes.
I'm looking for good samaritan or suggestion where to get the dump from MX25U1635E (2MB or 16Mbits).

Hi,
got Pro X from ebay. I'm looking for suggestion to resolve the problem.
There is problem with Administrator password. I cannot boot from USB at all. Not boot with Key "+ volume" and Power.
Always jump to the password screen.
Also please check picture with detail , looks like Harddrive icon. What that icon mean?
UEFI has limited view and options. And if I try to "install from USB" I will get error message "Refresh settings request failed" and *.dfi file not found.
I can open screen and download BIOS from flash ,... -

One from donor PCB I just guessing full number as the laptop is assembled, but from picture looks like KJ13AA.
Bad one/Empty one/non working is GH47AA

Lenovo FE590 charging issue with RTS 5455
I would like ask question about RTS5455 Power Delivery Chip in Lenovo MB FE590 rev 1.0 or 2.0.
Laptop wasn't charging, but everything else worked. Got the schematic diagram, and found faulty RTS5455, short on LDO 3.3V Out.
I ordered first RTS5455 (Marked on chip GH47AA) from Chine. I replaced and Power Delivery start cycling 5V from USBC Charger.
Did more investigate, found nothing wrong but I found other guy complaining about China RTS5455 that after replacing the chip he got same problem as I did.
So in hope I order RTS 5455 from different... -
