Are you sure this program is safe? I'm just asking, because I was told that links from sites like this aren't safe. Again, just asking.

There is not much there and nothing obviously nasty. I can't think any of that software may be obviously causing a problem.

You seem to have corrupt or missing system files. If I were you I would download Malwarebytes anti-malware and run a scan.

Isn't that just HJT not detecting them because it's Windows 7? Or maybe it was not run as admin?

Considering with all the problems and his lack of knowledge and troubleshooting skills; why not? It is free to try. It would help to rule out malware as a possible source of problems.

I'll take a 7 year old C2D era PC over that piece of junk any day. Those cheap celery, erm, Celeron CPUs are slower than a Desktop C2D.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

Main PC: Core i7 3770K 3.5GHz, Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP, 8GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 1600, 240GB Intel 335 Series SSD, 750GB WD HDD, Sony Optiarc DVD RW, Palit nVidia GTX660 Ti, CoolerMaster N200 Case, Delta DPS-600MB 600W PSU, Hauppauge TV Tuner, Windows 7 Home Premium

                        Office PC: HP ProLiant ML150 G3, 2x Xeon E5335 2GHz, 4GB DDR2 RAM, 120GB Intel 530 SSD, 2x 250GB HDD, 2x 450GB 15K SAS HDD in RAID 1, 1x 2TB HDD, nVidia 8400GS, Delta DPS-650BB 650W PSU, Windows 7 Pro

I wasn't saying he shouldn't do a virus scan - in fact since he appears to have no antivirus I think this is actually a good idea. I'd also recommend NOD32's online scanner as well, since they have one of the better detection ratios.

I haven't actually used HJT for a long time.

Did a quick test just now on my own Windows 7 Laptop and I don't get any weird missing files listed like his one - and that was without running it as admin either.

                            Look in the folder C:\Windows\Minidump
If there are files in there, compress the whole folder with a compression program.
If you do not have one I recommend WinRAR
And then attach the compressed file to your next reply.

I just check the link (C:\Windows\Minidump) in windows explorer, and there were no files. Not sure what antivirus to use.

I will, but I won't shut down the computer, the least I'll do is put it in hibernation, or sleep mode. Is this safe?

Yes it is safe to keep a computer always in hibernation or sleep mode.
But keep in mind it will need to reboot when installing Windows updates...

Reading your first two posts in this thread again I have a question:
Was it slow from when you made a fresh installation of Windows 7?
Or did it only become slow after you installed all the Windows Updates?

After I installed windows updates. And all those Microsoft .Net language updates. I actually did another test. I just logged off the user, and then logged back on, and doing this (without shutting down) everything started up fast and easy. Like its supposed to. Again, I did this without shutting the computer down. Is that weird?
