I assume near the computer, as in the case? She knocked it over?
Try resetting everything, memory especially. Unpower it, reset the BIOS via jumper, and try booting.

            Yes.

If your system doesn't have a jumper you could always remove the battery and hold a paperclip across the terminal for 10 seconds to achieve the same effect.

What brand of PSU did that PC have??

I once had a Gigabyte GA-8i848P-G motherboard that did the same thing as that. Computer froze and blanked out on a word document then on restart there was no video on boot, but fans spun.

Found out that the Generic DEER brand PSU killed the southbridge because the 5v line pumped out too much voltage due to badcaps in the PSU.

                    by DynaxSC
Hi, i have an ASUS PRIME Z590M-PLUS board, which had an shorted Z590 chipset. I have succesfully exchanged the chipset to a factory new one, however there is a serious problem with the Intel Management Engine (later on: ME) not beeing activated after the chipset device replacement.

For lower chipset families (on ASUS boards) it worked to program the oldest bios version into the SPI rom, and the bios had activated the Management Engine itself by default - there was a message on the screen prior booting - "BIOS is updating Management Engine ..... . Do not shut down to prevent...

Lenovo 11e problems (any sata hdds are not recognized, sleep battery drain)
                    by clabr
Need help to solve some problems with this laptop.

After working in bed with it one night and heating up too much (probably the cause of this problems) the sata HDD OS windows froze
After restart the original Sata HDD was not recognized anymore (but works fine in other laptops or PCs)

Tried connecting other good Sata 2.5 HDDs but not one is working in this laptop anymore (not the original nor others)

Before this had happened I observed some other problems:
When I tried replacing original mecanical HDD with a SSD HDD could not get them...

I believe Chip 2 is BIN is the main one as it contained the Windows product key, marked with XXXXX for now.

PROBLEM: Turns on blank screen, charging circuitry motherboard looks good. I have tried another firmware here - but resulted in 5V will not go to 20v due to different PD firmware I believe - using the current firmware it does go to 20V.

Requesting a firmware clean/BIOS region cleaned. Here is output from ME Analyzer:
