Dead Cap???

Hello eveyone just wanted to ask if the cap direcly below the "JUSBLAN1" label is a dead cap. I noticed there is some kind of corrosion coming out but its now the usual venting we see on other caps. and take note its corrosion (dark brownish) instead of the "crap" (light brownish) that comes out of a venting cap.

Are you talking about the one closest to the FET?

hard to tell by that pic.
you could be seeing flux residue from the fet.
more paste is used on those larger parts so more flux.
cant identify the caps.

The capacitor directly below the "JUSBLAN1" label.

Anyways I don't know if this means anything but my mobo's sensors "-12v" entry is indicating something like "-64v"

short answer, if it doubt replace (or at lest test it)

it does look like something on the top of the can and possibly coming from under the sleeve
or like KC8 has mentioned but it doesn't look like a popped can
(bit hard to tell due to flash reflection)
possibly the cap is OK I am thinking and just crap on the can.

Yeah it may help knowing what brand type they are ?...
if they are crap , as you know... rip them all out and replace them all regardless .

Some caps will leak dark brown.
I have an inverter board here with leaky/vented Elite brand caps and the 'stuff' is very dark brown.

replaced power supply with a know good one (a reliable HEC brand that has worked ok for me), and the -64v reading disappeared. :-) I'm qoing to observe it for a while. Actually I'm letting it run prime 95 and 3dmark2001se for about 1 week.
