Re: NCC KY 6.3V 470uF
I located them on ebay.. Based on the data sheet they appear to be 330uF based on dimensions.. These are from egecku / pcmcs..

It's actually pretty common. I have a nice stash of UCC KY 3300uf 6.3v in 10x30mm, that don't exist according to UCCs data sheet. They are quite genuine, identical in every way to the UCC KY 2200uf 10v
caps I got from Digikey, right down to the luster of the aluminum cans.

Re: NCC KY 6.3V 470uF
The 3300uF 16V samxon RS caps don't appear in the datasheet, but they weren't fake. They were just a custom sizeI love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!
No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

Re: NCC KY 6.3V 470uF
If you commit to the volume and pay the price (usually not horrible) "big boys" like Nichicon and UCC will do custom parts.PeteS in CA
Power Supplies should be boring: No loud noises, no bright flashes, and no bad smells.
