Can you test with another battery if available? Does Windows report the battery gauge and the battery gauge climbs over time?

I have replaced the battery, but the same problem persists. When I remove the charger, Windows still shows that it is connected ot the charge, and the charger light remains on. We have to disconnect and reconnect the battery; only then will the charging symbol disappear

Remove all power. Remove the battery. Meter in resistance mode.

Measure the resistance across the mosfet pins to check if they are leaking.

Post each measurement. Start with checking the battery mosfet @ PQ103. If the resistance is low, then the mosfet may be defective.
