This has worked on many ECs.
Only works if password is contained in EC

I shorten the LPC bus, with the LAD0:3 and Gnd.

you can use the dedicated ports where you connect directly to the track.
(Be careful, resistors may be missing on the path)

I am new to this forum and I already apologize for my english! I spent some time trying to find a solution to unblock a lenovo thinkpad x390 Yoga, which probably has, according to a diagram I found online, a NPCE388 Embedded Controller. I don't know much about laptop hardware but whith your help I could maybe manage to do it! In an other thread AAAC wrote:

Here is all the info you should need to remove bios password from your same model or one with an MEC-Chip and also write back the config data

Hi Experts,

I need your help to remove the supervisor/password from my Lenovo ThinkPad X390 Yoga laptop.

Motherboard Details:
- Model: LBB-1 MB
- Board Number: 18729-1
- Other marking: 448.0G104.0011
- (Photo attached below)

Problem:
My laptop is locked with a supervisor or BIOS password. I have read the BIOS chip and attached the original dump file below.

Request:
Please help me by providing a clean/unlocked BIOS file, or remove the password from my attached dump.

I have 2 laptops of model thinkpad x390. One is witg Gigadevice 1,8V BIOS chip, another is with winbond. Please to unlock.
1. Lenovo thinkpad X390, model 20NM-S0GM01 20/04, s/n PC-1GK33V. BIOS chip gigadevice 25LB128DSIG 1.8 V, original file name is "x395 GD orig 1.zip"
2. Lenovo thinkpad X390, model 20NM-S0GM01 19/12, s/n PC-1CMMX8, BIOS chip is WINBOND 25Q128FWSQ 1.8 V, original file name is "x395 wb orig 1.zip"

Also for Thinkpad X390 (not Yoga, that one can be solved by writing EC ITE chipset), I solved few by patching bios....

Not sure if autopatcher works on X390.
Not working on 480 and 480s so i assume the same for X390.
