According to the Lenovo diagnostic app, the notebook has an error with the integrated graphics (0286 error), can anyone confirm that this is a known error for this model? is there a possible fix? -
i double checked now and for me seems to be VSYS18 to low(12,24V) VSYS18 muss be at least the battery voltage when depleted (15,4V) or not? i dont know if the charging circuit is working because the battery is faulty.
is it possible that a faulty charging ic bq25700 or mosfet Q282 may cause the blank screen, because that signal vsys18 to the screen connector is coming from there ?

Lenovo X1 Carbon, 7th Gen no Display!
Hello,
I have a problem with the device mentioned above. It starts but shows no display, although the device works perfectly via an external monitor. The display itself also works because the self-test shows all colors. All fuses seem to be OK, Vsys18 is also 12.24V. Has anyone successfully repaired a case like this? If necessary, I would post schematic and boardview.

That resistor was causing the failure pulling low the ACDET line.
i am not sure what value muss have that resistor because no schematic available but the important thing is, Notebook is fully functional without any issues....Leave a comment:

Blown resistor at water damaged area near GPU section caused the Laptop to no post.
Resistor replaced (100k), Notebook is posting and showing picture!

Problem solved. I removed a resistor that was also on that ACDET line but not R1 or R2 and now Notebook is working and charging fine.
i will take later a picture of the removed resistor that caused this strange issue being 0.66V on ACDET line.
Perhaps someone will have same fault in the future.

All the measurements that i posted in the 1. post are with the charger connected without battery.
no scl or sda voltage on smsbus line.
R1 86k and R2 17k.( i tried also replacing R1 866k and R2 133k from the spare board and i get only 0.25V on ACDET line)
On the battery Connector i have 0.256V , thats fine without the battery connected.
when i inject 2.5V on ACDET pin then 19.5V is passing through the 1. and 2. mosfet.

Thanks, but i do not understand why ACDET ->0.66V , but when BQ24780S ic is desoldered , ACDET is over 2.4V and that should be right according to voltage devider.
The charger ic itself is fully functional, beceause is from a spare board and the charging circuit was fine....Leave a comment:

Hello, i have a asus notebook, that doesnt power on at all or charge.
it works only with battery plugged in without charger.(no schematic available)
BQ24780S ic already replaced with a good one but same issue, 0V on the source and gate of 1. mosfet.
No short on 1. and 2. mosfet.
i am able to measure only 3.2V on the CSR.
[B]BQ24780S[/B] voltages:
1. ACN ->[B]3.2V[/B]
2.ACP ->[B]3.2V[/B]
3.CMSRC ->[B]0V[/B]
4.ACDRV->[B]0V[/B]
5.ACOK->[B]0V[/B]

Unfortunately no post from mainboard, capslock is not glowing when Keyboard connected…
Another strange behavior that i noticed, is when the battery is disconnected , charging light is flashing after trying to power on the mainboard and also „clicking“ noise .
With the battery conntected and charger plugged in mainboard is starting fine but no post....Leave a comment:

I've already opened a topic about schematic for this model but unfortunately I haven't received an answer because schematic doesn't seem to be available.
The problem with the mainboard is as follows, it turns on, but no display.
All power rails seem to be OK, except[B] pl4801[/B].
Can someone tell me how much voltage there should be?(maybe someone has this board).

Hello everybody, i successfully flashed the mec1663 chip of a lenovo thinkpad x390 (20Q1 Model) after the notebook wasn't turning on at all.
So far all good but i realised that the product number is missing(is showing invalid).
i was able to get bios DMI information back via Lenovo Maintenance Utility v1.10 . However product number on windows or Lenovo Vantage is invalid.
Had someone the same problem and how can i resolve it ?
