Re: Philips TV keeps restarting, is this MB the same as mine please?
yes that one, some philips it can be the number on the bottom of the sticker, suppose it could be the top number as well on some, can be a 12 digit string, don't have to match every single digit on the whole sticker but there's about 12 in the string that should probably match.Comment

ok... so I have to look at all the cards I dismissed on ebay now, to see if the numbers on this sticker match. Lots of work in perspective...Comment

Re: Philips TV keeps restarting, is this MB the same as mine please?
I'm never comfortable buying a mainboard til I have proven the backlights and powerboard when possible, usually by starting powerboard as stand alone, by using jumper wires or can use resistors for safety, that's WITH cable from powerboard to mainboard UNPLUGGED. not familiar with this board, so I don't know which ones would need to be jumpered.Last edited by nomoresonys; 08-02-2022, 03:43 PM.Comment

Seems a bit complicated for me but a few days ago I unplugged the cables that link the MB to the powerboard and nothing happened.Comment

Re: Philips TV keeps restarting, is this MB the same as mine please?
I thought you need me to check the led on the front panel at the bottom (the little red led that turns on when the tv start) but I'm reading your post and I'm not sure if you need me to check this or something else?
Btw I have no more red light when the tv turns on, it disappeared tooComment

Re: Philips TV keeps restarting, is this MB the same as mine please?
If I need to ckeck the LCD panel where are led strips I think it's a massive task to open the whole TV to access this. I've seen videos on yt about replacing led strips, it's tough...
You need me to do this?Comment

Re: Philips TV keeps restarting, is this MB the same as mine please?
keep in mind if you take the screen apart, the tv will work with out screen and the BL will turn on so easy to see if one bad or not.
edit: yours screen just 40 size lol.. i took alone 85 size with out damage.Last edited by Diah; 08-02-2022, 03:52 PM.Comment

Re: Philips TV keeps restarting, is this MB the same as mine please?
maybe better start from the start, check the voltages at the connector on powerboard where cable from powerboard to mainboard plugs in, check in standby[tv plugged in but off] leave probes in place, power on tv take note of both conditions, this is to see if the mainboard is sending all the proper signals to the powerboard. good video example of testing there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocqnqmBxiqYComment

because it seems like strange things are happening, indicator light was there now it's gone, so I would start from the start.Comment

And it starts right away as soon as I lug it back.
The on/off switch became useless...
Ok let me make Diash's measurement againComment

by alfonzzoHello,
My Philips TV 40PFL3148H/12 keeps restarting as soon as the Philips logo is displayed, as soon as I plug it. The remote doesnt have any effect on it anymore, plus no red light on the tv panel as usual.
After contacting their support, they sent me a file to update the firmware from usb but without success (8gb 2.0 drive formatted in fat32).
Then they told me that it was a hardware problem.
Here is a video of the problem : https://streamable.com/8ixf1u

by G33RTPhilips 8200 series 65PUS8204/12 stuck at Philips Logo, it does not reboot it just stays on the logo.
It does power up when pressing the power button.
I already try the power button while plugin the plug with no result.
Also put the latest firmware autorun-TPM191E_R.001.004.100.000.upg on a MBR/FAT32 USB stick at USB port2 with no result either.
Could this be an PSU or eMMC issue ? -
by aidanmoHello,
I've got a really strange issue with the speakers on my Philips 43PUS7506/12. It makes this awful loud buzzing now. It happened after it was attempted to be wall mounted - I think the back got squeezed and something broke.
I thought maybe the speakers got damaged, so I replaced them - no dice.- Using the internal speakers, it always happens.
- Using the headphone jack, it never happens.
- Using the digital/optical out with a soundbar - it happens after about 2h/movie runtime - it's never as drastic, it just pops in and out, but I didn't want it to damage the sound bar

by CornitoHello Team,
New issue on LCD panel where I need to find out the cause and the potential solution.
This is on the Philips 50PUH6400, the LCD panel is an INNOLUX V500dk2 xrs1.
I have image, on the right side, the image is more or less normal even if there is a small blur on edge, on the left there is an issue.
When moving up and down in the menu on the right the image is slow to disappear, and is darker, like red/brown.
I've checked voltages, no issue found comparing right and left side of the panel driver.

by spantorHello partners.
Could someone tell me how to make this Philips TV source work without the mainboard being connected? The model of the board is EAX65423701 (2.1) and the model of the Philips TV is 40PFH40009/88.
The TV is dead, there is no standby light, however there is a voltage of 12v on the pins ( included 12v VAU ) and 3.2v on the PS-ON pin (see photo) when the power board is connected to the main board. If I disconnect both boards I only get 8 volts on 12v pins. I would like to rule out a fault in the main board by making it work, but so far no one has been able to tell... - Loading...
