Sony KDL-70R550A red led blinking 5 times, troubleshooting

Hey mates! my tv keeps blinking 5 time and when I turn on it doesn't show anything on screen and it turns off after a few seconds.
I am having the same issue as this guy: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=65126 and following his method,
I have removed the right bottom ribbon cable and the tv starts but the picture showing but not very clear and good, I attached a pic.

Can anyone point me to the next step I should take? thanks!

show a picture of the "right bottom ribbon cable" so we know we are on the same page, can you feed it a signal to see what kind of picture you have?

Hello thanks m8, I acted too fast and I removed the 5 tabs from the right side as stated here: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=53053, now the picture quality is better but still not good. see attachments.

what do you think, did I f up'ed? or should I remove the left side now ?

well hard to tell if it was a boo boo at this point, DO NOT remove the other side, or it will be ruined for good, need one whole side to drive it.

ok thanks, after fiddling around with the connectors it is now showing really good, not 100% but really good and watchable, just some minor imperfections.
