I've seen and heard many different things about not laying a plasma or LCD screen down flat because it can damage the panel.
In a way it makes sense that it could cause unneeded stress on the panel and thus cause it to crack.
The question then becomes: Do we attempt to work on the screens standing up?
So far I've been tilting the screens so they are proped at about a 45deg angle on a sofa with the cusions used to support the panel. Thoughts?
