Not sure, guess you could take out the caps closest to it, see if the cap tests good out of circuit, I would start with the biggest first, there's the freeze technique also seen lighter fluid used, have tried lighter fluid but I think freeze spray is better.

I did some more digging around and found a coil that is shorted to ground. Not sure how to properly trace it out from here though without schematics. Coil is labeled L2307.

If you've disconnected the coil on one side you can see which side the short is.

I found a used mainboard for it and fixed the problem.

So you have a working board to compare with the broken one or have you stopped now the TV is working?

Actually I didn’t find the exact same mainboard. Very hard to find and if you do there very expensive. . I found the commercial version mainbboard used for hospitality use. It works all the same just no Wi-Fi.

I sold the tv to a business for digital signage use

Well done, glad you were able to give that monster a new life, cool that you could use another mainboard.

Samsung DM32D – Red LED blinks 5 times, won’t start (possible mainboard issue)
                      by Nairolf
                      Hello,

                      I have a Samsung DM32D display.
When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

Here’s what I have tried so far:
                      1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
                      2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
                      3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

Samsung UE48H6410 replaced Mainboard but backlights doesnt go on
                      by max789
Hello, I have a problem with my Samsung UE48H6410SSXZG with the main board BN41-02156A and the power board BN44-00709A. Everything seemed like this, the TV could no longer be switched on, the standby LED always flashed 5x2 times. Backlight was off and no sound from TV. Also made the flashlight test and there was no picture.

                      I made the following tests:
                      1. Disconnected the main board from Power Board = backlight works.
                      2. Connected the main board and disconnected the T-Con = backlights does not work.

So I ordered a main board from Ebay also BN41-02156A but from...

DA0ZPVMBAD0 rev d Mainboard - blank screen issue
                      by harshana
I have the DA0ZPVMBAD0 rev d logic board and it doesn't boot up. I see all the voltages are okay. So I suspect the issue is bios.

When I power on with fn+ esc the blue light start blinking on mainboard.

I guess its a good sign. As all the voltages are okay and also charging indicates orange light when battery connected, I think it confirm that the EC bios is okay. So I ignored the ec and flashed main bios with 32mb bin file provided in the link below. But the condition is same.

Samsung HG49EE690 Hospitality TV reboot issue Mainboard BN94-11086A
                      by alltvrepairs
                      Hi,

I have 3 of these TVs for repair with same problem of going to standby after around 10minutes and start again continuously. I have tried a new SPI 25Q40 but fault remains. Am suspecting a CPU problem as it gets a bit hotter than I expect.
This seems to be a common problem in these models. I am 100% sure it is a mainboard issue as I have fitted a spare from a normal TV from a UE40K5607 and stays on (diplay inverted but I managed to rotate in SM using a different display).

                      Any help appreciated!...

PS5 Dualsense controller stick drift a mainboard issue?
                      by dbuergi
                      Hi all,

I got a controller where the left stick was moving left all the time (-1.00 at calibration tool). Even after changing to hall effect sticks it stayed the same and reset and all others things didn't help.
I removed the stick again and even without it calibration tool shows a movement to the left. Anybody knows where the fault can come from? Maybe any bridges or damaged SMD components?
