    T-con test pattern jumpers

Greetings I'm trying to make jumpers to run the tcon test patterns below but my LG OLED does not list 3.5v on p201 which pins would I use?

    3.5v to P_ON
    3.5v to 12VT_ON
    3.5v to DRV_ON

    Image below

The picture does not show part of the t-con and I'm not sure if a oled t-con has a built in test patern generator. Maybe when you push the P-only button on the service remote. I wonder why you want to run a testpicture , is there a problem?

It's a picture of the power board connector pins that were suggested for creating jumpers in another post to trigger t-con test patterns while the mainboard is disconnected. I'm trying to determine if my panel is at fault. The tv sends an sos to shut off when the mainboard is connected to the tcon. When the mainboard is disconnected the power stays on fine. I'm at a loss on what to try next, t-con, power and mainboard were also all replaced.

Is is possible that you misunderstand what to jumper where. As suggested look at the tcon for equivalent labelling. Perhaps there is the voltage that you need AND is provided at the tcon itself from power that it gets from the power board.

The old plasma tv's had that option, an Oled does not. A LG Oled service remote has a P-only button to start up the tv without the mainboard.

Got it there was a user on this board suggesting this on an OLED in multiple posts. Thanks for clarifying.

Sorry but no, nothing worked. The panel had to be replaced.

Lg TCon test pins for screen test
                  by alltvrepairs
                  Hi,
i have a 65 Panasonic TX-65HX710E using vestel 17MB170 main and Lg tcon.

Few drops of water fell probably near COF and have no display. Tried removing tabs but no.part of display present as if tcon fuse open. However 12v is present and tcon can be felt warm enough that supplies are present. Backlight and sound ok.

Anyone knows if this TCon 6870c-0805A has any special test pins for rgb test?

                  Appreciate your help....

TCL 50S535 bad tcon or panel issue?

Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

Hisense stuck in Colors cycle like test pattern.
                  by nono34
                  Hello,

I accidentally changed the project ID in the service menu of my Vidaa Hisense 100U7KQ TV. When I turn on the TV, the screen displays an RGB color cycle (test mode???). I contacted Hisense, and they sent me a usb_MTK_9618.EU.bin file, but it doesn't work. I can see that the USB drive is being read, and it flashes for about 10 minutes (the screen remains in the color cycle during the firmware reading), then the TV turns off and restarts, but still in the color cycle mode.

I want to mention that the 4GB USB is formatted in FAT32 MBR. I've also renamed the file to...

LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
                  by Hakuu
                  Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

Got the same exact TCON board from TVPartsToday and replaced it. But didnt transfer the EPPROM data (didnt...

                  A) TV initially dead
                  B) On a hunch of a locked up Google OS, plugged in a USB memory stick with latest FW and plugged it in. It booted into the update screen, completed the update and restarted to Home screen.
                  C) Was able to perform a Reset from Settings menu and completed out of box configuration.
                  D) Ran a 4K screen saver demo for about 6 hours, then turned it off for the day. Did not notice any stripes, dead zones or other artifacts in the image.
                  E) Powered back on and it now runs for a few minutes before relay clicks, screen goes blank, Main Board Red Digital Optical...
