Re: T-con test pattern jumpers
It's a picture of the power board connector pins that were suggested for creating jumpers in another post to trigger t-con test patterns while the mainboard is disconnected. I'm trying to determine if my panel is at fault. The tv sends an sos to shut off when the mainboard is connected to the tcon. When the mainboard is disconnected the power stays on fine. I'm at a loss on what to try next, t-con, power and mainboard were also all replaced....

Re: LGOLED55C8PLA Troubleshooting & end result.
Having a similar problem how did you determine the panel had short cells? I want to make sure before I quit. I already unfortunately replaced the t-con, mainboard and power supply. The set goes into SOS shut down. It only stays on with the t-con ffc disconnected.

OLED LG 65C8PUA no signal power drops

When the lower t-con FFC cable is disconnected, pictured below, the TV will power on and hover around 50 watts according to my kill-a-watt. When the FFC cable is connected the TV will turn on go to about 40-50 watts then click and turn off and immediately back into standby and dip to 0-3 watts.
When I started measuring voltages of the power supply P251 and P201 to the t-con board I get similar behavior. With the...
