Samsung ue32h5500 backlight but no picture

    Hi
TV has backlights but no picture
Tcon fuse is showing on both sides 12v
If I remove each tcon ribbon one at a time I have a picture of a samsung logo so that's good but the only thing I have noticed is if I remove tcon ribbon from the screen VGH is measuring 30v but with both ribbons reconnected I'm getting no voltage of VGH
So my theory is the screen is possibly faulty ?

Have you measured VGH resistance to chassis. If it's not short circuit could you supply 30V from a power supply with current limit set and see what happens?
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

If you have image on one side, you can try the tape cutoff method on the bad side. https://techhometravel.com/repair-of...lines-on-a-tv/

Are the tab bonding boards on the bottom edge of the LCD panel?
Inspect the tab bonding boards for any sign of damage and also check the resistance on the MLCC's (Multi Layer Ceramic Cap) of the tab bonding boards to see if any of them show low resistance reading.

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
            by TR103
            Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
            - sound and backlight, but no picture
            - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
            - it keeps rebooting
            - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
            - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

Samsung UE60KU6079 backlight okay mainboard responsive, no picture, no sound
            by Ierwin
            Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...

Samsung LCD TV no picture backlight on no 12v at tcon
            by shelby5041
            hi
i have a samsung lcd tv

it powers on with sound and backlight but no picture

all voltages from PS are good 12v 3.3v and 5v

whats odd is that at the tcon i tested voltage across the fuse on the tcon and i get 0v

i figured main board issue..so i ordered a used main board....when i put replacement main board in i still have same issue

no 12v at the tcon fuse

i disconnect the panel ribbon cables to rule out any panel issues and i still have no 12v at the tcon fuse

            the odds of having 2...

Samsung UE43NU7122 has Picture, but no Backlight
            by Fenzon
Greetings fellow DYIers, the moment I discovered this community forum, nostalgia has hit me pretty hard, this early web 2.0 look and feel is close to home. I can't describe my happiness seeing active forums that survived today, and its not just yet another centralized propriety subreddit.

Before I describe my issue with this particular TV, I would like to let you know that I do have basic electronic competence, and some electronic component knowledge. I also am an electrical installation technician student, although we exclusively study alternating currents and our primary...

Samsung Odyssey G9 (c49g95tssr) no picture or backlight. Power LED shows
            by grimreaper420
            hey guys,

i bought 2 samsung odyssey g9's for a decent price. they both have the exact same fault. when plugged into a power source, the blue led powerlight shows, but when turned on there is no picture, no backlight, no menu, nothing. when plugged into a laptop the laptop recognises the monitor, but keeps disconnecting and reconnecting.

dont have any schematics or diagrams unfortunately. any ideas?

            thanks
