    panasonic tx32lc60

this set i repaired as it it had a blown main filter cap in the power supply.i went ahead and replaced all the power supply filter caps and two fuse's and all seemed ok/ however if i turn it OFF with the hdmi cable plugged in the tv wont turn on again until i unplug the hdmi cable and turn the set on and then plug hdmi in and it plays uneventfully.the red light blinks twice and then goes out.remote or tv switching is the same. if i use the 3 rca plugs from the cable box its NO problem. if i turn the cable box off with its remote the tv still wont turn on unless the hdmi cable is unplugged.after the set is on hdmi can be used.if i i unplug the power from the cable box and leave hdmi plugged in the set turns on. thers some signal or voltage from the cable box thats screwing around with the tv either when its on or off BUT not unplugged, ill be damned if i got a clue whats going on,do any of you folks?

        Potentially , you could have N V M , or N A N D chip corruption on the main board .

Possibly when the power board blew .

The owner had trouble with his cable box and it was replaced maybe the box juiced the hdmi input? whatever it is it must be caused by the standby power im assuming is present on the hdmi input from the modem. thats a guess as it will turn on if it all stays connected and box power supply disconnected .id ask what part that is but no schematics seem to be the norm for tv boards.the factory service manual doesnt even cover the backlight system at all including the lamp ballasts

I have managed to find a workaround using a powered HDMI split er in the past .

Might be worth a try .

considering its age and the NON availability of backlight bulbs here for it. and the fact the speaker surrounds are shot (nonexistent) i do believe the owner will settle for using it in a non hdmi mode, but i do thank you for your input.if it were mine i suppose i'd look on ebay for a used board.unfortunately the shipping to here will be more than the board itself.

                Panasonic NV-V8000 cable
                by Thermaltake
Hi to all. I was wondering if anyone here got some parts for NV-V8000 vcr maybe. I am searching the whole internet and just can't find any parts for the old tank

I got two cables broken on the connector side, one has broken small plastic part that I assume from factory because I was the first one to open it, and it look like that, don't make some difference in work except aesthetic. But other connector on wire got broken wire off the connector.Connector was in very bad condition just like the whole vcr I restore all other parts only that connector got weak plastic duo to nicotine...

Marantz SR4003 AVR HDMI board issue, seeking for help
                by aliougm
I have problem with my AVR(Marantz SR4003) HDMI board issue. I connect to my TV but screen color distorted, see attached picture.

                Connection as below:
                Set-top box HDMI output >AVR 3 HDMI input/one HDMI output>HDTV HDMI port
If I bypassed AVR then HDTV screen color be good.

I take out HDMI board from AVR and check services manual the schematic shown the HDMI signals path:
                3 HDMI input port > SIL9185 chip(HDMI switch) > SIL9033 chip(HDMI receiver) > SIL9030 chip(HDMI transmitter) > HDMI output port

                I replaced all...

Panasonic TH-50PX80 killed by lightning strike, help me save her!
                by SluggerB
Yes it's a 17 year old Panasonic plasma!

I was watching TV when there was a huge lighting strike nearby my house that shook the house. When that happened, the picture on the TV froze and the TV wouldn't turn off except by pulling the power cable. Now if you plug in the TV, it seems to turn on (it makes the turn on "clikcs" it always does, the red power light comes on but there is no picture, although I can see the back light around the edges. And the TV doesn't respond to the power button on the remote to turn off, and doesn't respond to the manual power button on the front...

                (SOLVED) - Panasonic TH-50PZ80U - No HDMI
                by JDC
Issue: Panasonic TH-50PZ80U works fine but has no HDMI output.

                Easy solution: replace main board.
Advanced solution: replace HDMI chip on main board.

Unless you've got the time, tools and the hands of a surgeon, skip the advanced solution. For you beginners out there reading this, you would need to use a combination of a heat gun, flux, solder, and probably a microscope to succeed. If there is someplace you can send the board in for repair, you can go for that. From what I've read elsewhere, I don't think this TV will even do 720p.

                If none...

                by platinumsteel
Hi guys I have a Panasonic blue-ray disc player Surround Sound that is giving me a lot of headache trying to repair. When i press the Power button it gives a Click Click sound but doesn't turn on.I checked Power Supply Board for swollen or bad ESR caps with my ESR Meter and all i found was some swollen caps on the Audio Board i changed with new caps but still the same. Checked the whole board for shorts and there isn't any.I used to have like 3.3v on the Power Switch Button but now i have 20v ... Is that normal? isn't it supposed to be 3.3v on the Power Switch? I am hoping you guys might be able...
