    Only AC_DET is 4V
    +12VS is 12.54v

      AC_DET = 4V. but at yours first post you wrote PS-ON 5 V

Re: Vizio P602UI-B3 No Picture or Sound - No TCON Voltage

run the PSU alone.. jumper AC_DET and Power ON. and AC_DET to T-CON On. it should have all voltage 12 tcon and 12+ and 24V to led

prefer ac_det to T-CON on with R1k or less

need to simulated the PSU as stand alone to be sure its all V produced,

Yes. As soon as you pull Tcon On pin high 12 V Tcon comes up

Re: Vizio P602UI-B3 No Picture or Sound - No TCON Voltage

I have ordered a new main board. I will give that a shot and if it doesnt work it's time for the dump. I strongly believe the main board is the culprit or i got another bad LED Driver board. I don't know what signals go from main to LED Driver so i can't troubleshoot that.

What i think might have happened is a damage on the main board (overdrive) resulted in damage on the led driver board. Especially that i have tested every LED and they were all good.
                    Thanks for the help

Thanks for the follow-up on the repair.
You should take all the Voltage readings on the connectors and safe them for future reference, take the readings when TV is OFF and when the TV is ON and running.

Re: Vizio P602UI-B3 No Picture or Sound - No TCON Voltage

I still have the TV open this time and I can do that.. coming up shortly!

                          Here you go:
when TV is Off. On the Power Supply Connector CN201:
                          AC-DET = 3.84 V
                          +12VS = 12.53

                          All others are ~0V

                          CN301:
                          All around ~0V

Cable between Main board and LED driver - ~All 0V

                          When ON:
                          PS CN201
                          T CON_ON 3.3V
                          12V T CON 12.42V
                          +12VS = 12.49 V
                          12V-AU = 12.42 V
                          PS-ON = 5.03 V
                          AC-DET =3.72 V

                          PS CN301
                          X000017 pins = 24.42 V

                          OD = 0V
                          VSNS = 0V

Main board to LED Driver (I believe this is the dimming or control of which zone is on... Not sure)
                          From left to right: 3.2 V, 0.67 V, 0.32 V, 0.16V, 0.67 V, .89V, 1.61 V, 5V, 2.01 V

                          Hope this helps

would anyone know if there is a "focus" like feature for this TV in service menu or so? seems there is bleeding (horizontal) and my M70-C3 seems to have much sharper image / text

Sony KD-75XF9005 grey Picture but Sound. TCON or panel?
                                    by iglitare
                                    Hi,

i want to repair a Sony KD-75XF9005 TV that initially only showed a grey picture.
Backlight seems to work, Sound (Setup menu after reset) works.
If i dissconnect the left FFC cable from TCON to panel i have half a screen on the right. If left cable is connected always only the grey screen.
Interchanged the cables, its always only the right side that is working. Always grey if left side is connected.
With my small knowledge i would think at least the cables are good.

Can this happen because of a bad tcon board?
Or is it always a bad/shorted...

VIZIO E70-E3 Half picture with half TCON
                                    by Fly_Among_Stars
                                    Hi,
                                    I have a VIZIO E70-E3.
Symptoms: Black screen, no picture, but LED backlights are working.
I probed the power board and voltages are as listed on the board.
                                    Main board appears fine, too.
I believe the problem is either a bad T-CON board, or connection to LCD, or bad LCD.
There are two separate ribbon cables feeding the LCD.
If both are connected, the screen is black.

If only the ribbon cable that feeds the right side of the screen (when viewed from the front) is disconnected, the left side of the screen shows picture and...

Vizio M65-E0 No Picture, No Sound
                                    by ggil44
Hi I inherited a Vizio M65-E0 that isn't working. It must have been dropped on the corner because I found that the infrared circuit had a capacitor with one end broken off of the board and some green corrosion around the plug to the main board. I re-soldered the capacitor and cleaned the corrosion well and tried turning the M65-E0 on and I was successful. My problem is that while the back lights come on and appear to perform local dimming there is no picture or sound. It kind of looks like you are looking at the TV through a very dense fog, where changing the input on the remote will change bright...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
                                    by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                    Assuming...

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
                                    by TR103
                                    Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                                    - sound and backlight, but no picture
                                    - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                                    - it keeps rebooting
                                    - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                                    - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                                    - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                                    - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...
