But I checked standby power and it shows 3.3volts so I know thats good. So I decided to check the remaining pins and it all looks good except for the main board. So I am getting 12v in pin 1 on one of the ribbon cables going to the TCON board but nothing on the second ribbon cable on pin 1.

LVDS connector CN4002 pin 1 and pin 2 are connected to ground plane.
Pin 38, 39, 40, 41 (connected to filter cap C4001) look to be for supplying power to the LEFT connector of the T-CON.
Please clarify.

Yes your are correct CN4002 is supposed to have power at pin 41 but it does not have power at any of those pins. I just saw some smoke looked like it came from vicinity of tcon board lol. I have another one on order well see what happens.

Is that 2 Ohms reading on that SMD Lytics cap?

3.0 ohms on the smd lytics capacitor. Not sure where the smoke came from I was looking at the power supply board when I turned my head I saw a very small amount of smoke above the TCON board.

3 Ohms reading is not good news.
When you get the new T-CON board you should check those caps resistance before installing the board, then re-check it again when installed into the TV WITHOUT the ribbon cables to the LCD panel are connected, then re-check again after the ribbon cables to the panel are connected.
We do not want to keep on blowing T-CON board.

Agreed!! I think TCON only blew because I connected the corner ribbon. I will keep you updated.
