Re: Panasonic 65fx700b intermittent tcon problem
Hi Michael,
May I please have it?
Also, after I changed the boards, now the tv lights up but the image looks like this. Is it normal before flashing the eeprom or did I mess it up while remving the caps?
Thank you for taking your time to post a solution.Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Re: Panasonic 65fx700b intermittent tcon problem
I fixed one of these t-cons on the same model.
There's a single S.M cap at the very top middle of t-con.
Replaced it and fixed.
I found out by applying 3 seconds of hot air on the t-con just before you turn on the tv, panel will come on and stay on. Until you turn it off, then reheat repeat.
Or just Replace cap mentioned
Also 55" tcon won't work, been thereLeave a comment:

They are not capacitors, they are resistors.Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic 65fx700b intermittent tcon problem
Hello,
I have the same problem with T-CON board for 65FX700.
I think I go to buy a TC-Con for 55 inch.
Michaelrobbo, why you removed 4 caps?Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic 65fx700b intermittent tcon problem
Hey my dude, I've bought this board as having the same issues and am going to be working on it over the weekend, I'm a bit of a novice but I'm okay with desoldering.
I have a quick question though, which chip is the EPPROM? Just so I don't start dicking around with the wrong thing.
Thanks mate, appreciate the help.Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic 65fx700b intermittent tcon problem
Can confirm the problem was with the dc-dc ic part number sw50212 but couldn't source one it would only work when heated so was failing not the solder so to fix I got a working board off a 55inch and did an epprom swap and removed some capacitors hope this helps people with the same problemLeave a comment:

If you had average reading comprehension dif, then you would have gathered that it was an eeprom problem that the OP solved.Leave a comment:

by AquaMan UaHello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...2 Photos

by kcaHello all ~
Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.
When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.
I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped... -
by hugocarmoHi.
I´ve been given an old CRT from Panasonic, it´s almost new, it was storaged and almost not used since bought.
It is imaculate inside, almost no dust or debris inside.
The picture is good, but I have no left sound channel, I tried all the inputs, outputs, even on headphone jack. In AV2 I hear sound from right channel but no image, on tv tuner only right sound channel, the same for AV1.
So I started to look for a service manual, I found one, and started from the beginning.
Most of the times the caps are the problem so I orderer all the caps for all boards,... -
by renechhello,
I hope someone on this forum can assist me.
I have a panasonic TH-42PC77U plasma television.
the lower 1/2 of the screen has become flaky....in and out, then finally goes black and you can only see the top portion.
i have performed the reset to default settings quite a few times. Panasonic recommended..did not believe this would help...it didn't.
I have removed the back panel and looked around for something obvious...burn marks in a board, etc....nothing obvious...
I have read some posts that suggest the problem is related to the boards on the left... -
by VebririonHi everyone,
I'm new here and trying to repair my Panasonic TX-P50V10E plasma TV, which is currently showing the 6 red blink error code.
Just for context: I'm used to building PCs and installing modchips in old consoles, but this is my first time trying to fix a TV. I'm French, and while my English is okay, I'm using ChatGPT to help translate and clarify my messages as much as possible — so please forgive any odd phrasing.
I'm also not very experienced with using a multimeter, but I'm very motivated and ready to follow instructions carefully and report... - Loading...
