Hi all, I have a 2006 NEC PX-42XR4G monitor with a pioneer plasma display that I have recently taken out of storage and all was fine for around three hours then the set went into standby and refuses to power up ? I have taken the back off and I have a red surface mount LED on the digital board flashing six times ! The caps on the PSU board look fine and none appear to be excessively bulged or leaking ! I want to repair this display as it has a VGA port for my desktop computer and one HDMI port for my PS3 and blu ray player !

by XConSymptom is TV has standby, I get relay click, voltage rails come up, but no screen and TV shuts down after 5 seconds. If I disconnect the Z from the y sus, the unit stays powered up and I can read voltages.
So I've read the two other threads on this TV and I can confirm the Y-Sus #EAX64789501 does not have diode or resister failure. Did not see any fractured solder joints on the transformer or anywhere else. All power boards have slight discoloration on the hot spots.
The board in question is EAX64789601, Z board. I have 208 going to Y Sus, 5v standby. Pin 5 on P174 connector... -

by Rick_1234Good evening, gentlemen.
I have a problem with my monitor. It turns off after a few seconds or flickers. Shining a flashlight on the screen doesn't show any image, so I guess it's not the "2 seconds to dark" I read in the forum.
To turn it back on, I have to press the power button twice. Then after a few seconds it turns off again or flickers. See video.

Things I tried
- Bought a new AC adapter thinking that was the problem but the problem...-
