I have a 49 inch curved Samsung C49HG90 on the bench with a power on graphical issue.
Owner said it would take 24-48 hours to clean up the image so it was usable.
I have already pulled the main board and reseated every cable because it kinda looked like an LDVS corruption at first, but no joy there.
Thermal camera doesn't show anything super angry, just chips doing the thing.
I have used hot air on the board to heat it up hotter than it would be. No change. Still scrambled screen.
Any help would be appreciated....

That's exactly what I found out with the fan-intermittently running. Discovered that after I pulled the board, saw the heat stress, and did some digging. I intend to find a 12v rail to run it once she's powered up again. Thank you for the suggestion and the help 🫡 -
Thank you for the help so much!
Those part numbers are what I needed. I've attached 2 wide shots of the board, it's the Surround Right channel that blew, and based on the hot spots, I'm pretty sure that fan wasn't running correctly.
Rest assured I will be rectifying that problem as soon as we get it up and running again.
I work at Digikey, and was looking for compatible parts because I don't want to wait 3 weeks to buy 10 unknown parts from China, and I ran across this thread on Reddit.

LG 60PN6500 Plasma with standby, but won't power up.
Symptom is TV has standby, I get relay click, voltage rails come up, but no screen and TV shuts down after 5 seconds. If I disconnect the Z from the y sus, the unit stays powered up and I can read voltages.
So I've read the two other threads on this TV and I can confirm the Y-Sus #EAX64789501 does not have diode or resister failure. Did not see any fractured solder joints on the transformer or anywhere else. All power boards have slight discoloration on the hot spots.
The board in question is EAX64789601, Z board. I have 208 going to Y Sus, 5v standby. Pin 5 on P174 connector... -
Re: Free Integra DTR-50.5 HELP
You, Good Sir, have correctly identified the package which I haven't been able to figure out with my Google-Fu
I can't find this part number on Digikey but knowing what the package is helps a lot.
It's the board right before the output transistors, and I know these little smd transistors are moving some heavy current based on the discoloration on the board. I want to replace them all, but I cannot afford to make a mistake on these, so I need to know for certain I get the right ones.
Yes I have a good hot...Leave a comment:

Free Integra DTR-50.5 HELP
Hello everybody, I'm begging the community to help me identify a component on this driver board, it's a surface mount transistor or MOSFET, not sure. Only markings are BE 8.8W.
The unit powers on fine without this board.
I haven't gotten around to testing the output transistors yet but I will before installing this board again. The unit was working great prior to this but had a random popping in the surround right channel, which is where the failed transistor is.
The component in question is Q5064 and it's in the third photo.
If anybody has a Digikey link to the component,... -
Re: bn44-00264a Does anyone like a puzzle? Please help!
This is what I bought and the power board seems to be working but just won't hold standby voltage. I'm comfortable testing anything senndogg, I'll be home in 15 minutes to give you the results

Re: bn44-00264a Does anyone like a puzzle? Please help!
Steady 5.22v (spec 5.3), backlights fire just fine. Did this before to try to rule out the power board and came to the conclusion that the main board was probably good because it fires if I'm quick on the power button so I went back to the PSU thinking I messed something up... Have I been chasing my tail this whole time? What could go wrong with the main that the TV would still function but not stay in standby? No 5v return? I didn't check that but I thought that was only on when the TV was on.Leave a comment:

Re: bn44-00264a Does anyone like a puzzle? Please help!
Hi budm I've seen you around and I appreciate your help for sure. The answer is yes, I have 5v standby, but only for about 5 seconds or so after plugging it in. As far as I can tell all voltages are correct when the TV is on, and for a short time after you plug it in, then I lose voltage. That's why I'm so confused!Leave a comment:

bn44-00264a Does anyone like a puzzle? Please help!
So I've got the dreaded bn-44-00264a with no power. After a kit from my favorite supplier Shopjimmy, the TV works... once. And only if you hit the power button RIGHT AFTER you plug it in. Otherwise the standby light goes out after a few seconds and the TV is a paperweight.
Using chassis as ground. Voltage at collector of QB801 is -50v to -122v and it's cyclical, (YES, negative and I'm lost at this one because I'm to understand there to be some 15v there) It drops to -80.4v and holds. Strandby light will come on shortly after for a brief time (5 seconds or so) it's at this point... -
