Sharp lc-65ub30u wireless module is dead?

Hi, I'm hoping that someone could have some insight into my tv wireless issues. I brought home a tv (from a friend) that hasn't been used in a while and tried to connect to the internet wirelessly. The tv scanned but could not see any available network. (my internet is good). I could get the internet only when I plug the ethernet cable directly into the back of the tv. I tried manual setting, pressing the WPS button on the router, entering the tv WPS pin into my router, and resetting the tv but nothing works.
Is this mean the wireless module/chip is dead? Does anyone happen to know if I have to purchase the exact wifi module or as long as it will fit and look the same?
    Thanks ahead for any suggestions.

Can we see the pictures of the whole backside of the TV showing all the boards so we can see what we are dealing with?
