Hi, I'm hoping that someone could have some insight into my tv wireless issues. I brought home a tv (from a friend) that hasn't been used in a while and tried to connect to the internet wirelessly. The tv scanned but could not see any available network. (my internet is good). I could get the internet only when I plug the ethernet cable directly into the back of the tv. I tried manual setting, pressing the WPS button on the router, entering the tv WPS pin into my router, and resetting the tv but nothing works.
Is this mean the wireless module/chip is dead? Does anyone happen to know if I...

Re: lg 60ln5400 power on to lg logo and stuck at a weird screen
I did what Nomoresonys and Nicholas suggested and got no changes. What seems odd is why does it power up right away when I plugged the power in (without having to press the power button). Can a bad ic104 or main board causes that or is it short circuit somewhere?Last edited by Jp06; 12-03-2019, 07:48 AM.

lg 60ln5400 power on to lg logo and stuck at a weird screen
Happy holidays everyone,
I have a lg tv (60ln5400) stuck screen issue and hoping that someone could tell me what it is and how to fix it.
I lost the power cord and remote so i got a replacement cord on amazon. When i plugged it in, the tv came on without having to press the power button. The lg logo appeared and went straight to this screen with the circle at the bottom right and it's stuck there (refer to images please). There are no responses with any buttons from the back of tv.
I baked the main board at 385F for 10minand have the same results.
Thank you so...

but i can't figure out exactly what which diode and capacitor that he pointed out so i just bought another power supply board (PSB). I'm still experiencing that same problem. Please help! Here are the pictures.

Re: Sanyo DP50E84 with evenly spaced horizontal lines across the screen
I found this video on you tube and thought it was crazy but i tried it anyway. I did exactly like the video but it didn't work so i decided to try out all different combinations and finally end up with this (refer to pic).
and lord and behold .. it worked!!!!!!!OMG!!! If anyone has this issue, i advice you to give it a try. Pay special attention to the size of the tape. Too big, it will not show any picture and too small doesn't work either. That sound went away too BTW. I just can't believe it. So really...Last edited by Jp06; 07-29-2016, 11:24 PM.

Re: Sanyo DP50E84 with evenly spaced horizontal lines across the screen
Hi guys here is an update of what i discovered.. so the new TB came in and i replaced it.. same problem with the lines..
However when i remove the left tcon ribbon (red circle) the right side of the tv has perfect picture!!! (the left side is black) plus that hissing sound go away. The minute i plug it back the noise came back, has picture on the whole screen but also the lines.
so i reverse the process.. keep the left connected and disconnected the right.. got that hissing sound.....

Re: westinghouse DWM55F2Y1 will not turn on
So Budm i got zero for the one under the cover and 208 for the 2 diodes. (it's BR560 mojsmc) Heating the startup/running caps, i still get no STBY voltage...Last edited by Jp06; 07-24-2016, 12:56 PM.

Re: westinghouse DWM55F2Y1 will not turn on
Hi Budm by P/N you mean the number written on that IC1? Here is a close up of the it.. If you rotate it right side up.. it's the same arrrangement as the diagram of where i took the readings....Last edited by Jp06; 07-23-2016, 09:06 PM.

Re: westinghouse DWM55F2Y1 will not turn on
Hi Dick_barton excuse my lack of knowledge with these boardbut i can't seem to find anything that label IC1 .. there is EC1 which is that big cap with 2011/65/EU on it which you asked to measure.
