    Thats what I have been doing to try and get it on, I haven't been able to find the exact main board but ordered one that is close to try. It probably wont work but maybe.

        If I purchased a board with the wrong firmware and If I swapped eproms could that possibly take care of it. From what I understand the only way to update Vizio is tv through network.

            Ok put the main board in and it seems to be working fine now. The main board is for a m501-a2r and the set is a m651-a2r. Is it possible to swap the EPROMs between boards so it would have the correct info and firmware?

                VIZIO M65-C1 Does Not Turn On

                Hi All,

                I am having an issue with my Vizio M65-C1 where it does not turn on. When I plug it in the stand by light on bottom left of screen turns on (white) then fades away. If I press the power button it turn back on and then fades until it is super dim.

                When I remove cover, there are no illuminated leds on the main board, I've seen others with a red/blue led that turns on.

                I've done some research and what is interesting is my voltages all seem slightly different from other people. For example +5/3.5v is 3.48V when on which is different from others on here....

                Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe. Conncted power supply and tuned on my laptop, the lcd turn on, it started to load os, then it turn off, after a second it turn on, then after like 3 seconds turn off again, and so on.                 Vizio M70-D3 4K with dark spots backlight issue

                I have a Vizio M70-D3 4K with a dark spots backlight issue. It is using the Y8387248A backlight driver board.

                On this model each of the 64 transistor powers 2 LEDs. Using my TKDMR TD3H backlight tester I've determined that the backlight LED strips were the issue, and the backlight driver board was just fine. Some LED pairs required 5.9 volt at 155mA, some required 9.5 volt and some were completely open.

                I've removed the LCD panel and once the LED strips were exposed I've tested them again by connecting my LED tester directly on the test pads. To my surprise all, I've...

                Hello, I have an Acer Aspire 4520 from a couple of decades ago and I want to repair it solely for nostalgia.

                It happens that when I turn it on after having been disconnected for a long time, it turns on without problems, it tells me that the BIOS has been reset and that it will load the factory settings, if I tell it to continue, the computer turns on and everything works fine.
