What happen if you have only one ribbon cable between the panel and the T-CON board connected one at a time?

still get the lines going across the panel (ie greyed out but top half is black.on the disconnected side)

So the vertical bars on the disconnected cable side of the screen still present? Can I see the screen shots?
What is the history of the TV?

Photo attached - History not known as purchased spares repairs.

I do have a working UE32K5600 Model so if tcon boards a match I will test with the working one.

Same thing on the other half if the other cable not connected?
If both are disconnected then there will be no any lines or shades on the screen, correct?

looks like panel has had it - removed main and tcon boards from working machine and same faults are present. So fault lies with the panel itself - anyone sucessfully done a repair to the top tcon strips?
