There is a LED controller IC on the back of thesr boards that needs replacing... cant remember what it is at this momemt in time. Will post back later....Leave a comment:

looks like panel has had it - removed main and tcon boards from working machine and same faults are present. So fault lies with the panel itself - anyone sucessfully done a repair to the top tcon strips?Leave a comment:

Bush DLED40127FHDCNTD - Software dump
Have one of these Vestal built dumps in the workshop at the momemt with a faulty mainboard. I also have a working one as well that is currently up for sale - both sets have the same part numbers on the main board and is there a way of extracting the firmware off the working set onto USB? Then to install onto the corrupted one?

Hi. Did this method work. I have the same 40L1333 guy whom I got it from.tempted to repair the said board using the eBay kit and made a right royal mess of the job. Feel its safer to just replace the faulty power board. Got few 17IPS20 from other models.Leave a comment:

Got this in a from a friend who wants to have a go at repairing
Samung LE32M86BD - TV 6 flashes of LED then fires up - backlights all come on but no display (not sure about sound as don't have display to check the what source its on)
Any pointers? -

Hi Tom - got this out again - have been busy - had swapped over the psu and the main board from another set like this and still produces the same fault where the back light doesn't come on - so its the leds inside the panel itself.Leave a comment:

Cello C32109F V2 - MEGMEET MP329FL - No Backlight
Working through my pile of sets after putting things on hold for life.
I have a Cello C32109F V2 that uses a MEGMEET MIP329FL / MIP320FL PSU board (see attached photos)
I don't get any backlight at all - all other functions work ie dvd, tv etc as you can see it working with out the backlight.
Any pointers please - have DMM and Cap tester (no scope yet)

Quick question - I have one of these LG 50PC55
there is 3 faint lines on the right hand side of the panel that shows in the lighter scences as per the attached photos - is it the panel itself failing or not?

Failed MOSFET - double checking and getting a replacement

I am current relearning my old skills from days gone by so what to make sure I am doing this right.
I have PSU Board in front me from a TV I am current working on - I am wondering If I have this right
I have tested fuses/caps and these are all okay and focus has now come to the MOSFETS on the board - I have 3 (2 are the same) - AOD452A

SAMSUNG LE32D400E1W - No Power to Backlight
Hi Folks
A new one for you all
I have a SAMSUNG LE32D400E1W here with a fault on the PSU - I am not getting no power to the Backlight circuit from the PSU board (checked voltages and showing as nothing/fuses are ok
With the TV on and a torch the TV boots and shows the image with no back light
Board is BN44-00438A I2632F1_BSM
