With tv unplugged from power, unhook cable from powerboard to mainboard, plug tv into power, see if backlight comes on and stays on.

Check the voltage going to the two led strings on the power supply, test points SRV-led1 & SRV-led2, monitor the point and turn on the tv and note the voltage.
How many wires are on each plug going to the leds? You may need to test the voltage on each wire going to the backlights to get a better idea of the problem.

Quite a few I think 1 or two on each report 1.000v the rest below 1.000v between 0.700 0.012
Also I hear a clicking coming from approximately the area circled hard to tell exactly.

Also whether I press power on or off it dosn't change Noether does the clicking

It looks like you have 8 strings of LED, 4 strings per LED drivers, there are two LED drivers.
The SRV_LED 1 and 2 are for feeding the Voltages to the Anodes of the LED strings.
With black probe on chassis and red probe on The SRV_LED 1, what do you see on the meter when you turn on the TV? Same for SRV_LED 2.

In the brief time while turning the TV on while the green lights flash, I get 66v on some and 31 on other wires on each side both led connectors from the powerboard but in the few seconds during powering up it changes and falls back to low or near 0

I am asking for the Voltage reading when the TV is turned on at the jumper/test pint SRV_LED 1 and SRV_LED 2, only two test points I am asking for.

I was wondering if the backlights so then I remembered I ordered a backlight tester aha thought it would be handy all came back at 33v give or take but the one set of negative and positive wouldn't light up on one of the two cables.

How do I know if it's just one strip is that usually the case when only one returned no lights and I bet there are no replacement ones now also
                  Edit seen replacement strips.

Also sorry just realised what you meant it's 66 v from led1 and and led2 with led connectors unplugged that's in the short time the TV's initial power button is pressed after that 2-3 seconds it's back to between 0 and 1v with the led connectors unplugged still.

Is it likely one strip of bad LED's causing this may I have to replace more than one strip and is it likely to work in the case of I replace the led strip?

Ok to update I took of the panel as I had to anyway and did tests in the strips and found one did not light so I have ordered a replacement.

Does anyone know of it sometimes a led going can damaged a power supply or is that rare?

They just drive the LED's very hard so they do not last, make sure to turn down the backlights level for all inputs to as low as possible to extend the life of the LED's.

Thank you yeah i only put it on high to impress or when selling to make it look extra.
But regularly i always put on low for my eye health and avoid headaches and recently i learned it helps the TV too so will do thanks.

Hello. I bought a faulty Lenovo ideapad 3, but it turns out the 3Valw buck converter burnt a hole through the board. I was able to clean it up, and remove all the shorts. I now can power the 3.3v rails from a bench power suppy while connecting the laptop to its psu, and I get the additional 5valw, 1.8v, and 1.05v, form what I can tell in the schematics, those are the only 4 voltages I should see before turning on, and they are present. When I hit the power button, the power indicator on the left side turns on (not the one on the power button), stays on for about 12 seconds, then turns off for...

Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

                                Hi all,

I have a Lenovo Legion 5 with a Ryzen 7 series CPU and RTX 3070 GPU. My issue is that it turns on and all seems fine except after a few seconds the fans spin up high and the laptop turns off after 34 seconds.
I can get into bios and can even boot and login to Windows however after 34 seconds no matter if Im at the bios screen or booted into Windows it will just turn off.

I have managed to run HWmonitor and the temperatures of the CPU and GPU are fine, I can also touch the heatsync which is warm but not hot.

I have tried a few new bios but exactly...

                                Hello,

I have a ps4 Fat CUH-1116A, the worry is that when I got it back it turns on with the blue leds and a few seconds it turns off and you have to turn it back on and it turns off again.
It seems to be in security.
The fan does not turn even with a new one

                                Checking made:
                                - New power supply block OK and even with another one always the same problem
                                - PS4 metal sheet is not too screwed
                                - New thermal paste and new fan
                                - Voltage 12 Volts arrived on the fan, no short circuit on the 12 V ...

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                Assuming...
