Am I likely to have damaged the LCD
So I'm inexperienced and I set the TV up to check the led backlights up on my bed.
Then ofcourse I instantly realised where am I going to sleep should have picked the couch till the replacement strips came but I put a long canvas to keep the screen from bending and my thumb and finger in the middle of the screen verticaly and the edge of each side horizontaly I lifted the panel with the panel staying vertical at all times and placed it in another region
I should add it was 55 inch :/ Panasonic TV. 55DX600B incase some panels are more weak as I see lots of Samsung's with...Last edited by Fixing222; 08-24-2019, 10:29 AM.

Re: Panasonic TX55DX600b Continuous red lights 3 seconds apart
Thank you yeah i only put it on high to impress or when selling to make it look extra.
But regularly i always put on low for my eye health and avoid headaches and recently i learned it helps the TV too so will do thanks....

Re: Panasonic TX55DX600b Continuous red lights 3 seconds apart
Ok to update I took of the panel as I had to anyway and did tests in the strips and found one did not light so I have ordered a replacement.
Does anyone know of it sometimes a led going can damaged a power supply or is that rare?

Re: Panasonic TX55DX600b Continuous red lights 3 seconds apart
Also sorry just realised what you meant it's 66 v from led1 and and led2 with led connectors unplugged that's in the short time the TV's initial power button is pressed after that 2-3 seconds it's back to between 0 and 1v with the led connectors unplugged still.
Is it likely one strip of bad LED's causing this may I have to replace more than one strip and is it likely to work in the case of I replace the led strip?...Last edited by Fixing222; 08-22-2019, 07:43 PM.

Re: Panasonic TX55DX600b Continuous red lights 3 seconds apart
I was wondering if the backlights so then I remembered I ordered a backlight tester aha thought it would be handy all came back at 33v give or take but the one set of negative and positive wouldn't light up on one of the two cables.
How do I know if it's just one strip is that usually the case when only one returned no lights and I bet there are no replacement ones now also
Edit seen replacement strips....Last edited by Fixing222; 08-22-2019, 07:41 PM.

Re: Panasonic TX55DX600b Continuous red lights 3 seconds apart
In the brief time while turning the TV on while the green lights flash, I get 66v on some and 31 on other wires on each side both led connectors from the powerboard but in the few seconds during powering up it changes and falls back to low or near 0...Last edited by Fixing222; 08-22-2019, 06:06 PM.

Also I hear a clicking coming from approximately the area circled hard to tell exactly.
Also whether I press power on or off it dosn't change Noether does the clicking...Last edited by Fixing222; 08-22-2019, 05:52 PM.

Panasonic TX55DX600b Continuous red lights 3 seconds apart
It originally starts with green flashing light then it has backlight maybe lower region just but it's less than second then continuous red flashing light 3/4 seconds apart it lasts as long as I leave the set on.

Samsung UE49MU6120K works then off/lines/flickers
This is strange it worked almost everytime the last 6 times for around 4 hours then it fades slightly and powered off and then quite quickly powers on and off while there is flickering and horizontal or vertical lines.
Today I went to watch it and it didn't even give me the 4 hours then I take a break for 30 min and it works it went straight to dim backlight then lines on TV then off and on etc.
Any ideas main board or powerboard or possibly something else?
I took voltages on powerboard to the main board that were meant to be 13v I think we're 12.7

Re: Panasonic TX-48CX400B Only backlight no picture
Sorry not had much time to open it up but just got round to it, same thing. That was a good idea so this rules out the two tab boards (Driver boards) attached to the LCD if no display or could it still cause no display or a short just wondering...Last edited by Fixing222; 08-11-2019, 05:24 PM.
