Hi everyone, this TV has vertical lines, I tried to touch the flat on the panel and on the t-con but it doesn't change anything, do you think it is a panel problem and therefore not repairable or the defective t-con? I attach photo of the defect

What is the history of the TV? The problem just started by itself?Never stop learning

Clean and reseat tcon ribbon connectors with ISA, make sure the tcon lvds cable is clean and not loose, as good a starting point as any.Comment

Re: tv led samsung UE46F8000SZ vertical lines
the display model is: samsung CY-KF460DSLV1H
What kind of alcool is used for these cases?
I've seen videos where they replace the flat between t-con and display, how are they electrically connected and which glue is used?Last edited by poweron; 06-26-2019, 04:19 PM.Comment

by AnonmisHello all, I was recently repairing my Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 tv from the common burnt backlight LED's and cracked light guide panel issue. After replacing the LED's and putting the TV back together, I tested the tv and all I was getting was sound but no image. Somewhere along the way (could be related to the next issue) the T-Con board became damaged and after replacing it I have made a little bit of progress but now have bright pink vertical lines and still no image.
The bigger issue .... I took the TV apart again and realized that I likely didn't sit the LCD panel correctly... -
by ridaKHII have a problem with my Samsung LCD panel a320ap20s4lv0.4. There appears vertical lines where ever there is text . See my pictures.
this problem only happen with HDMI input, not with VGA
the picture is so good with VGA input
Could this be fixed by cutting some kind of tracks on PCB that drives the LCD panel?
vgh even vgh odd signal from Shift Register
and directly connected to panel?
Thanks for all the help in advance.

No picture, just red vertical stripes. Google search shows quite common problem for these recent Vizio M series although red vertical stripe pattern may differ. Some call it "Netflix" boot screen haha.
Where is the short?
Panel has 4x buffer boards. Quickly found the 1/4 panel buffer board with the problem by selectively disconnecting buffer board flex cables.
Having recently fixed another Vizio with similar symptoms that was a shorted ESD diode array ( link ) Probed the ESD diode array but... -

- Prior owner tried a replacement main board. No difference.
- Samsung 2x red blinking standby LED = panel fault
- Jumpered FB_TRDY_1 (pin 1 CN1300 left. main tcon->left side buffer boards) and FB_TRDY_3 (pin 95 CN1301 right. main tcon->right side buffer boards) This allows testing individual T-Con (on main board) connection to panel on this Samsung. Found fault on left side (viewing from rear of TV)
- Each side has 2 buffer boards, disconnected left side flex between 2 buffer boards. Fault is on the left most board.
- Tape masking eventually isolated to CN1300 pin 15 (CKV4_GOA) Display

by kcaHello all ~
Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.
When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.
I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped... - Loading...
