    Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 - Pink vertical lines due to chipped LCD panel?

    Hello all, I was recently repairing my Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 tv from the common burnt backlight LED's and cracked light guide panel issue. After replacing the LED's and putting the TV back together, I tested the tv and all I was getting was sound but no image. Somewhere along the way (could be related to the next issue) the T-Con board became damaged and after replacing it I have made a little bit of progress but now have bright pink vertical lines and still no image.

    The bigger issue .... I took the TV apart again and realized that I likely didn't sit the LCD panel correctly and just happened to place it a bit too low where it sat on the small raised edge that you can see in the attached picture. This caused the LCD panel to chip along the border of each bottom corner and it seems that there are some copper traces that go from the source driver boards (along the bottom of the TV) to the gate COF's (along the side of the TV) through this border.

    If my understanding above is correct, can anyone help with the following
    * What are all the signals that feed the gate COF tabs?
    * Does anyone have the datsheet for the COF tabs part number S6CGV02A01-65U? I didn't have any luck searching online, hoping others may have better luck.

    I'm hoping I can solder some wires from the lowest COF tab to the corresponding signals on the Source/Address boards to fix that connection.

    Any help and information would be greatly appreciated!!

      Yeah I know this isn't an ideal scenario but do you feel it's a goner because of the amount of signals that are routed over to the gate drivers or due to a lack of documentation? I have nothing to lose at this point so I would definitely be willing to solder wires to complete the connections that were caused by that chip as long as I can figure out what are all the connections that go to it. I don't have much knowledge on the workings between the source drivers, gate drivers, and LCD panels and how they all interact. I'm continuing to browse the resources here to see if I can find that information since there are a lot of gold nuggets here.

        Yea nothing to lose for sure. When you break the glass you potentially break connections on the internal of the screen. I don't see how you would fix something like that since the signals cannot jump the broken connections. You can't solder the broken connects either because they are in the glass. But this isn't based on any real understanding of how it works it's just my random opinion.
