    LG service menu

    Hi guys
    Just wanted some advice changed complete set of backlights on a lg47ln578v but I'm wondering can you set up to keep backlight on say 70% in the service menu I have got into ez adjust and set this to 70 but everytime the TV turns off it's back on 100% when I turn it on again

      Isn't there a normal B.Light setting in the user menu? Why to choose for a service menu item?

          I think the setting in the service menu is for the default for eco mode.

              What I'm saying is everytime I set it to say 70% on backlight it changes back to 100 % so i was just wondering if i could permanently set it to 70%

                  at EZ-Adjust after change the value press OK, i am not sure if it work as service RC Save.
                  however this value will effect on LOGO start up only before the firmware will start and the actual BL level come in place.

                      Dear All,

                      FAFO is the correct definition of what happened with my Samsung UN70RU7100K TV, I was trying to change the region to enable samsung plus using the service mode, entered the mode mute 1 8 2 pwr, and started to dig in. Did some changes while having digital TV signal in the back instead of doing it in HDMI standby mode, I remember changing to a region different then mine but also had a different tuner $%&!.                       QN55Q60R Service Menu Panel Help

                      I had a the above tv qn55q60r that had a bad panel but everything else good. I had another panel here from un55nu6900 with bad leds and melted diffusers.

                      I put the nu6900 panel in and powered it up and it does work but there are lines vertical lines.

                      I was trying to change the panel type in the service menu but don’t see my exact panel. Anyway to fix this or someone have similar experience.

                      the clear picture is the panel type from the service menus on the nu6900. The other 1 is the panel type that was set for the q60r with the bad panel....
