    Power board

Hello can I have some help,I'm after a board with the part number ‘TP.MS6308.P83,it is in a Hisense lcd 32inch.
Looking on a well known auction site ive noticed many board with this imbossed number, but has a variant numbered sticky white label which is different to mine.
On looking everything is identical/number printed, could this tv use this same part in other lcd of the same size ?

My white label is JHD315DH-E12 A15084411-0A00609 52% (unsure what these mean)

    Re: Power board

You need to match up the numbers on the white sticker, the "imbossed" numbers are just the generic board numbers.

      Re: Power board

You will find the same TPMS board number in many other TV,s and they "look" identical. However the programming will be different including the LCD screen. So things have to match, or you make it match by programming and service menu. These TV's are the "everything on one board" wonders.

You need to match the screen, remote control, tuner etc. The exact same board is used only by ur model.

What is the problem you are having with the tv? maybe its not the board, or maybe the board can be repaired.

Freezing is the issue, works for around five minutes, then you have to switch of the set then just shows ‘hisense’ what I mean by freezing is even scrolling through the menus etc also

Do a factory reset from the service menu or reflash the firmware by usb drive.

Only this one is correct https://www.ebay.com/itm/LCD-TV-MAIN...OeYF:rk:1:pf:0

The first part of the white sticker "JHD315DH-E12" is your panel model.

                        Re: Power board

i don't find any firmware for that particular tv. But i'd try copying the existing EEPROM to a new EEPROM and go from there.

If you could take the EEPROM out, read and save the extracted flash, then "FF" the EEPROM, do a blank check, it will tell you if the EEPROM is bad or not.

I can try to order this firmware for you for 10$. Sorry but I don't have them on hand.
@Capleaker, this board doesn't have a eeprom but has a nand chip instead. So more expensive tools and better soldering skills are required for this repair.

yes, it is a nand. Looks like an S28 or S29... I just had a look at a picture. This repair isn't quite on the easy level, that is correct, as some soldering skills and special tools are required.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                  Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
