Got a Vizio E500AR from the curb (could have been hit by lightning, idk). TV had no power/standby lights illuminating when plugged in. This TV has very few component boards so I feel like it shouldn't be too difficult to fix. I'd like to use this TV as a D&D map supplement.
I ordered this kit:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/VIZIO-E500A...72.m2749.l2649
Replaced both the mainboard + PS board and the respective cabling but to no avail.
I do not get any response (auditory or visual) from the TV when plugging in/attempting to power on.
Readings off PS are all NULL:
1.Ps on-------- 0v
2.GND
3. 3.3VSTB---- 0V
4.GND
5.GND
6.GND
7.12VA ---------0V
8.12VA ---------0V
9.12.VA ---------0V
10.GND
11.LINE OFF ---0V
12.BL_DIM ------0V
13 BL_ON -------0V
14.NC
I have ~120V AC @ the power cable terminal. I also have continuity between all of the ground pins.
At this point I decided to tear the TV down all the way and visually inspect everything. The backlight inverter is pictured here. Each of the lamps has a darkened spot on the end (with the dark spot alternating sides each lamp).
My uneducated guess is that either I received a bad PS board (I doubt), or something besides the MB and PS are causing the issue. I could use a professional's advice/assistance on this one.
Apologies if the pictures aren't linked correctly. First time posting here.

. Testing for continuity between the ends I get continuity on one of the fuses. The same fuse gives a very low resistance reading. I'm assuming the one with no cont is blown. Going to try to get everything put back together and report back with readings (no MB attached).
