yes that what that code means it says it in the service Manual 2 slow 7 fast blinks so check the supply to/on the frc power supply board.
here is the direct link to the service manual scroll down to the bottom of page and wait for a minute i will then say get manual click that and download it im having trouble uploading it too the site

Hi Vince, sorry I didn't get back sooner... I was in another state.. I ordered the part and it came in , I replaced the old one and the blinks are still the same... and it still doesn't come on , I looked at the schematic I cant find anything else that could be wrong ..

if this is common fault never rule out replacement part being faulty too as we have seen this a few times maybe if budm or a more experienced member has some spare time they can let us know his thoughts on this fault and what possibly to check next.frc error could mean the board that supplies this board (frc)is faulty?

We need to see the pictures of the whole back side of the TV showing all the boards.
Then you have to start checking to see the FRC (Frame Rate Conversion) board/circuit is getting the Voltage to run or not.

All I asked so far are the good clear pictures of the whole back side of the TV showing all the boards.
The TV has two power supply boards but I cannot tell what each power supply boards are being used to for in the circuits.
                                1) How does we suppose to give help from thousands of miles away when we do not have the TV in front of us to look at so please provide good clear pictures?
                                2) To all people that ask for help, if you look at the pictures you provide and cannot read anything or see anything clearly then we can't either.

+1k....We have to see if the FRC is getting power or not. DO NOT try to jump any connections to 'force' the PSU on at this time.

Ok guys the problem that is causing the blinking power lights with no on is a bad low voltage regulator located at (Q7120) at the right top of the power suppl, replace problem solved.

Good morning... I'm new here and have a LOT to learn.

I'm a rescue-er. I live in NYC and I don't even want to get started on the amout of stuff that makes it onto the curb, to be crushed and in a land fill, simply because our repair shops have been sold out and because - well, it's a disposable society... Anywho

I have 1 motorcycle, 3 Jaguars and a Porsche that were all headed to the crusher due to a couple handfuls of needed parts and a Lil Love,,, I'm hooked on the rescue. A member of several forums and a huge fan of DIY environments such as this one. Hats off to you...

It's been a while since I've checked in here or needed input on narrowing down what to replace on a TV repair, but I've got one on my bench now that has me wondering. The lack of part (board) availability means I may need to do some component-level diagnostics, and a second opinion is always good when it comes to that.

The issue - Sharp LC-80LE844U does not display. Power light comes on for a while, then you can hear a relay click off and the light blinks twice slow, then five times fast. Service manual points to 'Panel Power Supply Error' with this code, but isn't much more help...

                                          Hi community,

I will describe my problem with a TV in those short following terms to be the most precise :

                                          What i have :
                                          Sharp Aquos LC-60LE635E
                                          power board DPS-162KP-1
                                          main logic board QPWBXF733WJN2

                                          symptoms :
white led light logo at startup,
after 2 minutes, blinking 3 times a row, repeating
no backlight (and apparently no picture, checked panel with flashlight)
                                          no startup sound

                                          powerboard investigations :

                                          1-2 PNL : 0v
                                          3-4 GND
                                          5-6-7-8 UR : 13.15v
                                          9-10-11-12...

Panasonic ZT60 plasma tv with strange behavior and 8 blink code
                                          by cloo
I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.

So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

I write this to maybe help another with this TV.

So I aquired this TV a 2023 model. It started the 2 blink reboot problem which indicates bad panel. It was still under warranty and the repair man came by.

The Samsung repairman brought a brand new panel and switched my original boards to the new panel. The new panel then had the 2 blink error code. The repair guy said he has seen this and the MAIN board on this model will cause the 2 blink. He then replaced the main/power board (they are both connected) and put it back onto my original panel. Voila it worked.
