Sanyo FW55D25F Turns On Then Shuts Down

I have a Sanyo 55" TV model FW55D25F that will turn on for a few seconds and then shuts down. During the time it's on there is a message on the screen that says:
    No Channel Is Registered.
Press and hold "ok" button on the remote control for 3 seconds.

I do not have a remote for it.

That's all it will do. During the few seconds it's on, using the buttons on the tv, I can't access the menu, source or anything else.
    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Backlights issue most likely. You would have to do some voltage checks for us to be certain, though.

I have exactly the same problem, but I do have a remote. The TV powers on and the backlight lights up, the power LED flashes a few times, then the Sanyo logo appears, then the following message appears for less than a second then the TV powers off:

(Channel 1 is displayed on the top right corner)

      No channel is registered.
Press and hold "OK" key on the remote control for 3 seconds.

(message is also displayed below in Spanish and French)

The screen is evenly lit and there are no defects in the logo or the error screen. Holding the OK button on the remote makes no difference, as the power shuts down before 3 seconds elapses.

I have removed the back and checked the caps visibly. None of them are swollen and there are no burns, etc. The unit is 3 years old and just went off during use.

I have also tried to change inputs during this startup cycle, but no change.

Hope this info helps point everyone in the right direction - I could use the help myself.

Have you checked the mainboard? I had a chip that was getting out on the same model tv. I cannot remember which chip it was though.

Any chance you remember? Fw43c46f starting up, remote and buttons unresponsive. Shows the input fine. Restarts after 45 seconds.

Does this sound familiar? Trying to update firmware bit can't get into controls.

Exact problem and TV. I'm wondering if a roku (ie Satan) is a/the/part of...the/problem
This is an old post, however can I get a follow up?
            Thanks in advance

              FUNAI/SANYO FW55D25F Shuts Down Randomly
              by Michale32086
I have Sanyo 55" TV that randomly shuts off..

Sometimes it will stay on for 5mins or so, sometimes it shuts off after a min or two...

When it DOES stay on, it works fine...

All things being equal, would it be more likely a POWER Board issue or a MAIN Board issue???

              Thanx in advance......

Lenovo Legion Slim 5 16APH8 (RTX 4070) - Turns on for a few seconds then shuts off. BIOS issue.
              by riko 656
              Hello everyone,
I need help with my Lenovo Legion laptop. It turns on for a few seconds and then immediately shuts down. I believe this is a BIOS corruption issue.
              Laptop Model:
              • Model: Lenovo Legion Slim 5 16APH8
              • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070
              • Main BIOS chip size: 32MB
              • VBIOS chip size: 16MB
Problem Description: The laptop was working perfectly. Now, when I press the power button, the keyboard lights up and the laptop powers on for just a few seconds, then it shuts itself off completely. After researching, I am convinced it's a corrupt BIOS.

2 LG TV's in same room, one remote turns both on or off ...
              by SluggerB
I have 2 LG TV's in a room. It seems the power button is the only IR button on the remote, since pressing the power button on either remote turns on/off both TV's. Once turned on, the remotes only work on their respective TV's (that is a setting I set on each, I gave each it's own ID)

I have "solved" the issue by putting electrical tape over most of the sensor on front of the TV's so they dont pick up the other remote's signal, but I was wondering of there was a more elegant electrical fix that could be done on the board of the remote and/or TV to make the remotes...

DeLonghi AC Remote only accepts 3V
              by cstout
Hello all, I've been looking into this portable air conditioner's remote control and can't find what could be causing the problem - or possibly this remote is just terribly designed.

The remote only works at exactly 3V - if I drop it any lower, using my bench power supply, to say, 2.9V then the remote will not flash the display and turn off. I don't have any AAA batteries that are exactly 1.5V each so I'm not sure if this remote is designed this way - to only use the freshest possible batteries, or if there's a failed component in the mix.

              I can't find any schematics...

MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro Turns on functions then turns off when I plug in USB C cable
              by Stephen
MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro Turns on functions then turns off when I plug in USB C cable to reset the computer. I disconnect the battery fully and then reconnect it and it won't turn back on. After letting it sit for a day I plug the battery back up, and the MagSafe 3 cable and it powers on and stays ons, once I plug in a USB C cable into the port closes to the MagSafe port it turns off and the Amber light turns off and won't turn on. No water damage, nothing, I want to do a DFU restore to wipe the computer since the customer stated they did an update and ever since it just decided to not work...
