55PFL5505D/F7 image upside down and mirror

    Hello,
Tv on bench is a 55PFL5505D/F7 LCD
    Donor tv is 55PFL7505D/F7 LED

Hdmi ports on mainboard fried, found this 7505 model with identical mainboard with cracked screen.

Swapped out the mainboard, now picture is upside down and mirrored.

062596+menu followed by diversity code should correct panel. Then 062598+info should get you into sam menu.
I don't have the info stickers on the panel that should show those codes.
Better yet, can't even get those menus to show up with the original remote.

Question now is: Would it be easier to just swap the eeprom? And then, what chip is the eeprom on this board.
Or how do I set this up correct in the service menu?

Re: 55PFL5505D/F7 image upside down and mirror

So with 062596 info I got into the menu.

I got to this page (see pic) and it shows the current panel thats selected and then the options you have. I need the ccfl 55" option I'm guessing but I have no idea how to select that one. Pushing random buttons so far doesn't do more then getting me stuck in a color display loop thats almost impossible to get out of.

I thought I was smart and DL the software update for the 5505 but the 7505 caught on to that and didnt accept the update

2nd pic I turned it around in paint to make it easier to read lol

Be very careful, if you change any of the wrong items you can damage the tv beyond repair. You are looking for the setting called either Flip, Mirror, or Vertical flip (v flip). You'll change that to the opposite of what it is set on now.

I have an older lcd philips, I can't find anything related to picture flip, I know it's pretty simple in lg tvs, can't seem to find any definitive info on flipping a philips screen tho. Curious now, I will find out, even if I have to go to the dark web, lol.

I guess if all else fails you could do the pc screen flip and use it as a big ass monitor.

What is the LCD panel number? Sometime it has control line to set mirror mode.

Well,I'm not looking to reset to default. My problem is that this mainboard is from a 7505 LED model that I'm using in a 5505 CCFL model. If I could only flip the image I'd be golden

So,I now have this thing stuck in a permanent loop of showing all the colors.

Which IC would be the eeprom,I think the fastest would be to just swap them out and be done with it.

Hello all, I've been looking into this portable air conditioner's remote control and can't find what could be causing the problem - or possibly this remote is just terribly designed.

The remote only works at exactly 3V - if I drop it any lower, using my bench power supply, to say, 2.9V then the remote will not flash the display and turn off. I don't have any AAA batteries that are exactly 1.5V each so I'm not sure if this remote is designed this way - to only use the freshest possible batteries, or if there's a failed component in the mix.

                                        I can't find any schematics...

Toshiba 50lf711u20 fire tv remote not pairing

                                        Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help my in pairing a remote with a Toshiba fire tv?
The Tv model number is: 50lf711u20 Rev B.

I've already replaced all the the circuit boards within the tv along with the I.R. sensor receiver.

I've tried 3 different remotes which should be fully compatible with this TV.

Oddly enough. A few if the buttons on all of the remotes actually work. Even without pairing...which makes no sense.

The power button, along with the volume, back, select, and directional...

Hi! I have this TV set that does the following:
                                        1) I press the red power button on the remote
                                        2) The TV turns on normally
                                        3) After that it won't take any other command from the remote, neither power off, volume, channel, NOTHING
                                        4) We need to either pull the main cable or use the built in button at the bottom to select funcion OFF

Then after it's off, it would again accept the TURN ON from the remote and same again

                                        BUT:
-The remote does show the correct IR beam while observed thru a phone camera
-The TV works fine while using the MiRemote...

Pioneer VSX-522-K remote control not working???
                                        by tmhobadcap
I have this receiver for at least 10 years. Usually, we just use the remote for turning on/off and adjusting the volume. Recently, the remote control started not able to turn the receiver on. Later, the volume also could not be adjusted by the remote control.

At first, I thought that it was the usual problem which can be fixed by cleaning the contacts on the switches and the pcb. I opened the remote and clean it with alcohol. The remote did work again after that. But after one day, it did not work again. I opened it again and clean with alcohol and contact cleaner. Again it worked...
