Vizio E320VA shows logo then black screen

So basically the TV turns on shows the Vizio boot logo for a couple of seconds then goes to black screen. The indicator like is still lit up showing the TV is on. I can turn the TV off with the power button and the light indicator light goes dim.

I can then repeat TV boot logo comes up and then couple seconds back to black screen.

I have a blue LED that comes on, on the T-Con board with logo and backlights working then when logo disapears the backlights turn off and the blue LED does as well.

I was told the sound was starting to go out on the TV as well before it went completely out like this. Was also told that sometimes they could get it to work sometimes but they had to power cycle the TV a lot, and it would also turn itself off randomly usually around 10mins of use.

This TV was given to me so I'm not at any kind of a loss, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

You may want to look into the EEPROM or the repair kit for the main board.

What is your FULL model number of tv or the whole number on the little white sticker on your mainboard?

Ok, yes it matches up with the first part of your serial number.

Okay Should be final Question lol. I got my new chips today and the audio chip "U602" has a metal plate on the under side of the chip. does this mean that it is soldered underneath the chip?

I'm leery to try and remove this chip since I'm not sure, and all I have is a soldering iron and not sure how to desolder this. Also how I would go about soldering it back to the board. If I get it removed

Okay well I got the new EEPROM soldered in and it's still doing the same problem. everything lights up shows logo, then back to black screen.

Could be a separate issue with the mainboard. Usual place to start troubleshooting unless you have a real good idea is the powersupply voltages. Look at the second video in my signature, HEED THE DEADLY VOLTAGE WARNING.

I would check the LED's. If you turn the tv on and press the menu button then hold a flashlight up to the screen and see if you have the menu showing.

I am beginning to think if that statement from the old owner is true or not because I do not expect bad LEDs to cause those issues as stated by original owner, that sounds more like main board problem that is why I suggested to look into EEPROM.

Check your solder work over and check for bad solder joints all over and underside of mainboard.

Get the hair dryer out and heat up the mainboard, see if anything changes, if it does you're closing in on the faulty area.

So it's 2 seconds to black, could be a backlight issue.

Do the testing in video post #16, do it just like he does it and do the flashlight test in post 13. There's a tcon test you can do too.

I'm currently trying to diagnose and fix my Vizio TV (Model M50-C1). I've tried a number of different basic solutions, but I'm trying to determine if my issue is currently a failing panel, T-Con board, or main board (or something else entirely) and whether or not it is worth my time to fix it. Details of the issue and what I've tried are below as well as why I think it is either a bad panel, T-Con board, or main board.

                                          Having this very weird issue.
The owner of this laptop complained about screen being intermittent when opening and closing, and has been using the laptop on a thunderbolt video connection since the screen failed.

Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...

                                          MacBookPro 2012 15” A1398.
                                          No visual damage was found.

Mac was inside of suitcase and it was inside of a bag.

Mac boots up,I can hear the chime, but the screen is totally black, not even “light” black. Caps lock light doesn't work.

                                          I tried SMC,PRAM reset, didn't work.

Reconnecting screen display by unplugging those two things didn't work. I used this video

                                          Reconnecting battery didn't work.

I also tried SMC,PRAM reset while the battery was disconnected and Mac was getting...
