You will have to look at the board layout to see what each cap is being used for.

      UPDATE:

Today I received the capacitor and some fuses and installed them in to the TV. Here's some pictures of the solder job and the tv WORKING!

I know it's been a while since I posted this but as I fix the TV's I've been asking about I will post the results for each one as I get them fixed.

Here's a big THANK YOU to EVERYONE who helped with troubleshooting on this one. I appreciate it!

Well, I just subbed to this website. A friend was getting rid of his Samsung LN52C530 TV because it was exhibiting exactly what's described here: sound but no image. Even if I'm no TV repairman, I decided to attempt fixing it. Started surfing the web for leads. Yesterday while watching Trump win the presidency (poor MSM still won't proclaim his victory!), I red this thread and found that failed polypropylene cap in the power board. Ordered the replacement cap from Amazon because I wanted it FAST. I will receive it today and will post back very soon.

Well so much for Amazon's "so called Prime" membership. It was said that I would receive the cap the next day. That was yesterday. The cap came in this evening around 6:30 P.M. 🙄
It's now 9 P.M. and I've been watching the TV for at least 1 hour now. laughing my a** on a Jeff Dunham's Controlled Chaos monologue of 2011.. That bad cap was it. Unbelievable! budm, thanks for the fix man. May you be someway rewarded for your competence! And of course, thanks DXseekerMO for starting this thread.
